I was expecting to enjoy this game, played a bit of early access and enjoyed it for what it was, but EA didn't really leave me hooked.

Then the game actually released....

Now, I have almost 150 hours on a single save file within the last week and a half and my wife is divorcing me.

Best game I've ever played.

I love Monster Hunter.

It's super old, but some how I'm still having a ton of fun

This is my favorite game on Steam. It used to be super meat boy, but this wins. Go kill monsters, use their flesh to make gear, then kill bigger and harder monsters to use their flesh for better gear. Simple

Of all the speedrunning friendly games I've played, this absolutely nails it. The ability to develop skill over time and the lack (in a good way) of between death cutscenes is awesome. Amazingly tight controls, and you're made of meat. What more could use ask for?
