Love how random this game is.

Awesome game

PROS
-The single player campaign is great, albeit being VERY short it has good replayability thanks to the skull system and "speedrun" incentives.
-Fun Coop modes, both campaign and firefight are great with friends.
-Some MP modes are fun to play, capture the flag with shotguns being awesome imo.

CONS
-Audio is awful, really subpar on all fronts (dialogues are terrible too, but it doesn't really matter that much to me)
-Server issues are very common these few days after release, particularly in coop, but I expect them to diminish as the hype fades
-No input-based matchmaking, which means controller players with their "aim assist", which really is a glorified aimbot, will be able to track you with ease while strafing. This is no twitch-based arena game, medium range tracking is everything on most maps, and the -very strong- aim assist that has been implemented for controller makes a terrible player play like a decent one without merit of his own. This needs to be fixed now, get Microsoft to accept crossplay and give us input based matchmaking.

TLDR: The game is a blast to play with friends, stick to SP and coop if you are on m&k and don't want to second-guess every single PvP death

What was that Deep Silver? You will sell exclusively for one year on a store that doesn't let people review your products because you "don't like review bombing"? What a shame...



Anyway the game is good, awesome ambience even though it is sometimes a bit too slow for my liking (voluntarily slow mind you, it is a narrative choice), I would recommend it but Deep Silver showed how greedy they are with this move, so just crack it or buy it on a big discount with it's successor, last light redux.

Awesome graphics, good story (given you played the first reboot).
Still not a "Tomb Raider" game but a good open world TPS with RPG elements (very reminiscent of far cry 3/4 but better imo)
