As soon as I saw the game and the trailer, I thought of it as some sorta budget Ace Combat, but oh boy was I wrong. It's definitely better than it. Aside from better flight model, the weapons in the game feel just right. No under-g'ing missiles, multiple weapon types instead of just "Standard Missiles + 1 Special Weapon", gun that feels like an actual aircraft cannon with high RoF and tracers. And that's just very basic flight and weapon systems. Lore and story-wise, I cannot say that it's better than Ace Combat, but it is definitely NOT worse. Difficulty curve is very decent, and surprisingly bosses do not have any kinda plot armor.
However, the game still does have its flaws. Very minor, but they are there. I leave it up to you to discover them.
