Ill answer your immediate question, is it worth it? Yes

Now my thoughts, Scorn is a walking sim/puzzle game with a few guns. If you play the game correctly, you will seldom use your guns, they have very little use.
The enemies, lets call them the local fauna, are in themselves puzzles. They are very short sighted and don't want to mess with you if you don't want to mess with them, 2 of which being the exception. One being a guardian of sorts who doesn't despawn and will patrol around, but it is very slow and easy to juke. The other being a worm thing that just spits at you, don't feel bad shooting those. But for the rest of the fauna, you can simply back up and let them be, they will walk away*.
In my entire play through I only killed about 5 enemies, and that was because they were an intentional obstacle.
The puzzles are kinda weird, but scorn is a weird game, think weird and i'm sure you will easily overcome them.
Scorn has no loading screens, you are going through the entire game seamlessly, although the game does have occasional stutters.
The game is disappointingly short, it took me only about 5 hours to 100% the game and as far as i'm aware, there isn't much replayability to be had. If i were to purchase the game, i would buy version that comes with the art book, it contextualizes alot of the game.


*unless you happen to be standing nearish where they want to go.
