If you were a fan of Roller Coaster Tycoon during the turn of the century, Planet Coaster is certainly a great modern match to try out.

Its coaster building mode allows a great deal of customization and variety in your creations, its vast amount of available scenery allows for elaborate theming of your parks, and it has a large library of available rides and coasters to choose from (albeit there's even more with the DLCs).

It does have a few performance problems if a great amount of stuff is on screen, and there are some features I wish were more refined, like a better underground viewing system and better camera mechanics, but overall I don't have many problems with this game. It's a great game to try out, though I do recommend getting all the DLCs for the best experience.
