Been using it since years, definitely worth the money!

Devs are abusive and garbage. They have a clear chYna bias and shadow ban people all over the place.
Definitely not going to drop any money on Ark2.
Studio Wildcard can suck the honey out of Winnieh the Pooh for what I care.

I don't know, game didn't connect with me. Even used a controller, but it just doesn't feel nice nor do I feel like having fun.
I'll probably play it at a later point but at this point it feels like an unfinished Xbox360 port.
Eventually I had it running at a decent framerate (capping FPS to 60 f.e. like wth?) but the game still just simply doesn't feel good.

I had 84 kills and 7 deaths in my first match while being at the front all the time. Majority are bots, game is totally enjoyable for free but I wouldn't pay much for it. A small game that is fun, but I wouldn't pay $30 for it.

After I've had my share I can now say: Stay away from this game if you want to play it any serious. It's a great game at it's core but the p2w elements are crazy and potentially dangerous.

So after some time, reading up on how to fix some camera issues, displaying the KB+M keys and getting used to the controls it's getting pretty decent.
I'd recommend it, if it's on sale, not at retail price.

Basically a great game with very bad management. P2W, Servers that are flooded and griefed by Chinese, Hackers run rampant, Chinese side gets more information on the game, also get less punishments for things like griefing, hacking, aso.

Aside from the excessive need for AFK crafting (A good 2/3rd of my time is probably AFK crafting) and their additions of offline XP gain so you keep the game running, they also just sell ingame currency for real money via the market place. The thing is, Gold sellers rarely get targeted and Chinese players sell money to each other for much cheaper than the game sells it, but if non Chinese do it, they get the banhammer. I'm not banned, but I know multiple cases that did that.
Then the classical FOMO and other predatory money grab methods are all implemented, and if they are not they will add them, as they continuously try to "improve" their monetary systems in place.
I must say that the Discord mods are surprisingly good, kuddos to them, they listen and sometimes even reach out for feedback, which ofc is of value to them, but many companies don't do that and it does make you feel more heard, especially when you see suggestions you did independently get added over multiple patches and such.

So overall it's a good game in it's essence, you'll certainly have fun if you enjoy games like Conan Exiles, Ark and so on, just make sure to join a decent Guild before you step a foot on PvP. I was a PvP solo nerd for the most part, and did well, but I also put in the hours for it, which most people (most likely) don't have. If you play on official, prepare for a pretty rough and monotonous, long grind to even get into an area of being able to participate in any open world PvP (literally hundreds of hours, if not thousands to just have even a slight chance, before that you're literally just a free kill, even with 800 hours).

It's interesting for a while, has some good base game for a few hours of fun, but it gets very dull after a time. The worst part is the long matchmaking where you get thrown into teams with people that don't even know basic gameplay in basically every round, if the game finds a round.
I'd recommend it, as I got 46 hours out of it before being fed up with this ♥♥♥♥.
