In a sentence, great fun in a full squad with friends, but not exactly noob friendly.

The game has a steep learning curve with lots of information to learn and remember. Playing with a full squad of more experienced friends can be a good way to learn, however doing this I found that I felt I was lagging behind and dragging the team down as a whole. Matchmaking with randoms can also be interesting, as a good portion of players don't have a lot of patience for newcomers, and it's not uncommon to receive a round to the dome if someone thinks you've your gadget in the wrong place.

My advice if you want to start getting into this game? Play with at least 1 friend, and pick a few simple operators on attack and defense to start learning the ropes. Then just build yourself up from there. Progress won't be quick, but when you get a good round it'll feel so satisfying.
