In a sea of accelerated releases, reduced expectations and unstable releases, we finally have a breath of fresh air. The sheer amount of wonder this game provides is worth multiple playthroughs, and I will be starting my second shortly. I can't believe how many quality of life implementations the devs put in, just for the players ease of play and enjoyment. This quickly shot up to my top 5 video games all time list, and that's not just nostalgia talking looking back on a childhood of wondrous imagination. The characters are phenomenal, the game is beautiful outright, and like I said the amount of things in the game which exclusively make the player happier cannot be understated.

I have a couple qualms with the game and one real one. One being, at times, I felt like there was "artificial" difficulty with some sections and the sheer amount of enemies, but, that could have simply been my own problem because the combat system is very much based on you. So, my "flow" could have been off or simply been inadequate for those sections. The other, is I felt far more connected to Sebastians storyline than the main storyline, and I felt it ended leaving some questions. Another, being the one time visit classes. Call me crazy but I would have happily taken multiple, frequent visits to the classrooms. The real complaint, and I mean real, is probably as expected, the lack of quidditch. I'm holding out hope that Quidditch is being formulated for a DLC, or maybe an "activities" dlc to include wizards chess and others. Otherwise, I'm desperate to see a different year sequel, for example a different year, graduating year likely? Who knows. I just hope the issues with this games release from cancel culture don't impact how amazing of a job the dev team did, along with just how great the game is on its own.

Overall though, 9.99999999/10.

This game is quite a unique combination of games, and one that with exponentially increasing difficulty the further in you go and the more time you put into it.

I will continue to recommend this game to everyone I know, even though everyone else will suffer like I do in trying to be good at this game.
