This game is tight, i had a blast playing it

It's hella janky but it works well enough, my biggest gripe is the frame rate when you get to the 'open world'. It's low on any graphical settings and my rig is not a slouch. Got an s-rank on my first run. Multiplayer as of this review doesn't work.

Good job dev, you have brought joy to my life and my friends and family who have witnessed me play it

Edit: I've finished the game, and I'm changing my down-thumb into an up-thumb if only for how much I enjoyed the story. The side content wasn't bad either. I never had any other major bugs like the one where the game lost the high-grade weapon part as well. There was still a lot of animation jank though.

The game looks nice and I really like the style, and transitions between scenes. But even in my short playtime I've had a couple bugs, some minor visual ones and one somewhat problematic one. The visual bugs in question usually involve your character janking out with his movement, when crawling through vents (at a 2k resolution) you can see right through your characters model, physics can be pretty silly at times, its just overall janky. It's good for a chuckle but that's obviously not helping with the game's mood and tone.

The other more problematic issue was that a high-grade weapon part (upgrade material that lets you unlock a level of upgrades for a weapon type) straight up removed itself from my inventory at some point. I picked it up early on in the first area, went about my business and by the time i got to another crafting bench it wasn't credited in my inventory. I had died between picking it up and the crafting bench so I assumed maybe it had loaded a save prior to picking it up, so I wen't over to where I had picked it up and it wasn't there. So I was just kind of cucked out of an upgrade item for no reason.

all drama aside its pretty fun to be honest

like really you shouldn't hate a game because people tell you to, or for reasons that don't pertain to the game itself (gameplay, story, etc.) Look up footage and/or play it yourself. It's not a 10/10 obviously but hey man its pretty fun and not even 60 bucks

It's good. It lets you know about what Moira was doing during the 6 month in-between during the story.

It's fairly short, but it's got the ration mechanic where you hunt you own food for retries in missions.

But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screw part 3. Stealth kills are broken on that part. Literally went to kill a few different revenants during that part and they did a 180, ♥♥♥♥♥ slapped me, and made me their ♥♥♥♥♥ in a nanosecond. Needless to say, I lost all my retries doing this because I'm stubborn.

Why is this game so good?

Oh wait, I know. The addictive yet simple gameplay, a bunch of stuff to unlock through challenges, both characters and items, with a butt clenching difficulty. Did I mention the baller soundtrack? Well, it's got a baller soundtrack made by a Mr. Chris Christodoulo, shout outs to him for making such a great ost.
