I bought the first Mount & Blade when I was about 12 and thought it was the greatest game ever concieved. Since then I've gone through many games but the one I keep coming back to and is currently the only one on my favorites list is Mount & Blade Warband. The Metacritic score is really offputting, I know, but if you are interested in this game I highly recommend you buy it unless you don't want to know the true meaning of happiness.
