So, here we are 10 years and thousands of hours later. This game used to be really good. Sure it had some flaws but they weren't game ending ones. It saddens me to write this but the developers have left most of the community no real choice. With Gaijin's decisions in the past couple of years it has become even more increasingly obvious that the do not play their game, nor do they care about the state that it is currently in. The Battle Rating system used to determine what vehicles fight each other still suffers from too much compression. Vehicle repair costs are still used as a balancing tool which leaves some in an unplayable state. And now, the economy is in shambles. You can play a vehicle you really like but because the vehicle has a high repair cost and the reward multiplier is way too low, even with getting a couple of kills you can still end up with negative in game currency which you need to purchase the next vehicle that you are trying to unlock. For any new player I would not recommend getting into this game with the expectation of getting into the all the higher tier vehicles anytime soon. The amount of experience and in game currency needed to unlock those vehicles is way too high for how much the reward multipliers are on a lot of the free to play vehicles. There are even more flaws but these are the ones that I feel are the biggest detriment to the game in its current state.
