Games like this feel like perfection when they feel like they're made for their audience and not their shareholders.

I have way more time than shown here if you consider the time I spent playing at release. For so long I would say "I really wish Ghost of Tsushima would get a PC port..." well boom here we go. It's everything I remember it to be and more. An amazing piece up in my top 5 all time favorite games of all time with gems like Chrono Trigger and Shadow of the Colossus. A game everyone should play at least once for the story.

Despite recent drama with Sony, Arrowhead managed to survive the fallout and Sony backed out of their decision to require account linking. Now... That aside...

The game itself is fantastic, especially if you like just mindless violence against hundreds of enemies in a frantic effort to survive the endless onslaught, all the while completing map objectives. Great with friends, even great on quick play. Pretty friendly players in games as we're all fighting for the same thing... MANAGED DEMOCRACY.

I shot a penguin out of a rocket launcher at a group of sheep and it exploded like a ton of dynamite.

Boooo, it was cool until the developers gave up and abandoned the game.

It's like if you took the loot grind aspect of Diablo 2, the fun incremental power increases that get ridiculous by the end of a 20 min run, similar to Vampire Survivors and then a bit of Hades with the interactions between some various gods. The cool thing is you get to keep the gear between runs so the feeling of actually getting stronger between runs is very present. Lot of fun, 100% recommend if you like Diablo and you like Vampire Survivors.

This game exceeded my expectations in every way. The sheer massive number of combinations of classes/races/subraces/backstories and the way you actually play your character has either a massive or subtle influence on the way everything plays out. I couldn't figure out what kind of story I wanted to play my first time so I started over 4 times and every time in the first 5 hours, things played out DRASTICALLY different. This game in no way feels linear, I've gotten lost in the Underdark, run across humorous and gruesome scenes.

It plays as a turned based top down RPG, and the controls weren't too hard to get the hang of. If you're familiar with D&D you'll catch on to the mechanics very quickly, but even if you haven't played it, it's very approachable by really anyone who enjoys a great branching story you can make your own.

Want to be a righteous paladin who has broken their oath and is now an Oathbreaker? Sure you can do that. You want to be a big unga bunga half orc and use small creatures as improvised weapons? Yep you can do that too.

You want to climb a tower of boxes to get to the roof of a building where you then proceed to beat a guard to death with salamis? Yes you can absolutely do that.

I have 70 hours in this game, I've done so much and had so many laughs yet I've barely even begun to unravel the mysteries of the world.

The music is absolutely amazing. I've been whistling the themes while playing my Bard character, respeced my other characters to bard and formed a band of Bards to play music across the land.

I respect the CEO and the company for working so hard to give us a game we don't get nickle and dimed to play and they have given us the entire immersive experience and set us free on the world.
This has made my top 5 favorite games next to Shadow of the Colossus, Ghost of Tsushima, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 10.

Beautiful Game!

I managed to cheese it on my second run as tank my maximizing experience gain after my first run. Now I cant beat it again after clearing it the second time, lol. Though I'm only about 5 runs in at this time.
