Outward we reached into a barren universe; the emptiness of which we'd grossly underestimated. Nothing met out grasp, and a civilisation wept.

Then came the rift; the glitching edge of our most hypothetical conceptions of reality. Skirting a violent end in a glorious burst of supermatter, a new beginning was found.
