Imagine if a team looked at *other unknown more mainstream creature catcher franchise*, inspected all the core game mechanics and thought "What if this was better?". Oh yeah, and add the most hype soundtrack you've ever heard. That is what this is.

Not exactly sure what to think of the story, it's not exactly the most tearful & emotional thing but I still enjoyed it.

The game is oozing with charm from all direction, the music (as previously mentioned) is insanely good, the humor is just the right level of goofy (in my humble opinion) and the art really fits the game's entire vibe.

The post-game content is also really fun and introduces some fun new characters & interactions, highly recommend.

This game will for sure be stuck in my head for a good while: 8/10

It's like poker, if the designer of poker decided to take several different drugs before planning the design... and I love it.

The different decks allow you to play different interesting deck archetypes with unique planning while still having the rougelike feel of "Using what you get" and there's just something special about modifying a normal playing card deck/playing weird poker hands that's hard to describe.

There are some issues with the RNG early game, especially on higher difficulties. But that part ends quickly and most of the gameplay after that feels fair.

Overall, it's an insanely fun and dangerously addicting rougelike which injects dopamine into your eyeballs like few deck builders have done before, only reason not to get it is out of fear that it will steal your life away from your hands.
