I don't know what it is but after just 32 hrs I'm hooked. Hands down, one of the best games I have played.

Where do I start! So many things to say and very, very few are negative if that at all.

Let’s start with Graphics and Performance - no complains here except for a minor drop in fps as you play continuously for over 4 hours, simply fixed by just closing and restarting the game.

Overall Gameplay - I condensed a few things here, plenty to do, plenty of “oh shiny” moments that will keep you engaged, Exploring is a reward by itself, missions are easy to follow/complete and having a radio giving me random info, locations and other things, all combined with crafting, collecting and base building, you will not have a dull moment, ever.

In-Game hoarding - Yes people, we have that too. There are plenty of things to collect, from bits of information on your PDA to blueprints, to crew logs, plant life (both above and underwater), fish, collectibles, etc etc. If you are like me, and love to collect things and display them around your base, well look no further, this game has it.

Building - We really don’t have tons of options but what we have is enough to keep you engage, the multiple ways to build, and the way things snap together makes it easy to actually build a huge habitat that doesn’t look repetitive, I’m extremely happy and content that we don’t have a ton of things to build because the possibilities of always building something different and exciting is always there.

The bad things - There are a few bugs here and there, nothing major that I have seeing so far or game breaking that will put me off. The only seriously wrong thing about this game is how additive it can be. You can play for hours on end and don’t even realize your plants die at home cause you haven’t water them in weeks...😂. I have no complaints so far besides the above and I really hope this game goes far. Very well done and executed, pat yourselves on the back devs, great job!.

Amazingly well done. Work in progress and all but so far great. Hopefully they will never, ever, add xombie pirates or lasers...

I'm changing this review as the game got a lot better now, some lag is still there but not as horrible as before, this is what I wrote on facebook about it:

To be honest, when I got Conan Exiles, I hated it, I even tried to get a refund cause it was so unstable, but I didn't cause I had played 27 minutes more than the allowed time for a refund of 2 hours. I even gave the game a thumbs down review on Steam.

I'm glad now that this happened the way it did as I'm hooked on this game and all the potential it has after I gave it a second chance.

25 levels later and a town full of slaves (Thralls), only a major screw up by the developers could make me put this game down and I even doubt that 😉.

Abandoned, no longer developed or updated, needs to be remove from the Steam Shop like many others....Do NOT BUY THIS.

Game needs to be remove from the store or stop charging for it, unfinish, abandoned.

This game is only getting better as time pass. Very addicting and worth your time. Do have a few bugs but nothing game breaking. Highly recommended 9/10.

Very, Very disapointed for a second time! I try to give the game a go a full year after I had enough of the nerf's and nonsense, I even got the DLC, but 2 days later I just can't do it. Server stability on Official Servers is horrible, constant lag, DC's and rubberbanding got me kill more times than I can count. Even with settings at low, and I'm running a gaming rig that can put to shame most of any pc's outhere for this game (Double GTX 1080's, 32 RAM), it's just not stable enough to do anything without the fear of dying. Then patch day came and more nerfs......I just don't get it, PVP is a no no with the current situation, PVE forget it, too laggy, and single player, just no.

Like I said before a year ago, stay away from this game, don't buy it, let it die already, maybe that way they will move it out of EA..... into the dead pile, like the pile of crap that it is at it's current state.
