To Phlog haters, do you really think that the Phlog takes no skills? Well, then why will the new pyro players keep dying if the Phlog is so easy to master? Why can't they get a high killstreak without dying? Why do many pyro mains, even myself sometimes still die easily with the Phlog? And the main problem is why would you still die to a Phlog pyro if you say one is skill-less and so easy to deal with? The Phlog has no airblast and the only thing to keep you alive when there's no medics around you, is your survival skills. How do you avoid dying by accidents like getting killed by random crits, headshoted by snipers or killed by a demoknight charging at you? Your movements? Consider charging your Phlog SAFELY instead of keep rushing with it? Try not to spam your Scorch or Deton in the same place when you notice theres enemy snipers? When and where you should activate your crits? The way you trick your enemies to chase you, acting like you are escaping and rly panick, and you activate the crits then Phlog'em all? Learn to detonator jump and pair the Phlog with the detonator? As a pyro main, I'll say the Phlog actually takes the same skills as required for the Degreaser and other flamethrowers in my opinion. One very important thing which sounds simple, play smart no rush while using it, for real.
