Beautiful atmosphere, for a dark soul

Very fun - with or without people to play with

Wholesome to it's core. The sounds, the simple graphics, the dialogue... it's all very satisfying. Progression in the game is steady and there's enough depth in the game for a *few* hours of gameplay. It's even better if you have someone to play with. But it's still a great solo game to wind down to after a long day of work.

I find myself doing real life tasks to an imaginary beat after I play this game... nice

I'm not really into horror, due to the frequent jump scares... but this game gets you in another way.
Instead of cheap jump scares, the atmosphere and horrendous looking creatures make you feel uneasy.

Puzzles that can be confusing at first, but they are rewarding once you complete them.

I've ignored Undertale for a while now.... now that I have played it.... WHY DID I WAIT???? Even with it being so simple, it is by far one of the top games I've ever played. Stop wasting your time and buy it lmao

Timeless classic - honestly, how don't you have this game yet? A game now and then is great!

This game is fun and addicting at it's core. But there are several problems that should be fixed before official release.


1: Peer to Peer connection is NOT okay for a PVP game. It gives one person an advantage.

2: The combat mechanics are great, but the balancing not so much. Most people I've seen just go with Samurai because they are swift and still deal decent damage. Add peer to peer matchmaking and a hosting Samurai in 1v1, and you're at a disadvantage. (Not salty, I play Samurai)

3: Friends list on steam does not matter. You still have to add them through Uplay to be able to play with them. Also frustrating to add randoms for some later dueling.

Those are the main things I've seen that bother people. Right now the game isn't worth $60.00 IMO. If the game becomes more balanced at it's core and has official servers then sure I'd pay a good chunk of change for it. As of now I think it's only worth $30-40.

Unfortunately at this point I can't really recommend this game until it gets improvements. Even if it is super fun to play, I just don't think it's worth it at the moment. I'm going to wait a month for updates, and if it looks like it's heading in the right direction i'll pick it up.

(TL;DR) - Save your money until official servers come and classes are better balanced.
