I picked this game up with a friend having played and beat the first one. Gameplay loop is great, I love the art style and the level design is just downright cool. Where this game shines however is the co-op. this game FEELS tailored to it, rather than just injecting some kind of co-op in.

I absolutely LOVE playing this game with my 5 year old son! Unlike other games out there, this is a simple game that seems truly tailored for all ages. We love driving around, looking for new hidden things to dig up or jumping puzzles to solve. Until recently, my son and I were playing this on PS4, but when I was deployed overseas, this game on steam deck allowed us to continue the fun from afar. Highly recommend for anyone!

MANTES - XZAR SECTOR

I'VE LOST HUNDREDS OF BROTHERS AND SISTER TO THE RUST BUCKETS. THEY ADVANCE DAY AFTER DAY, WITH OUR FORCES BEING RE-ROUTED TO FIGHT THE ONCOMING BUGS PLAGUING THE OTHER SIDE OF SUPER EARTH. WITHOUT MY CLOSE, PERSONAL SQUAD MATES, I AM LEFT TO DEFEND ALONE, DUE TO A GLITCH IN THE HELLDIVER LINK-UP PROGRAM. IT IS WORKING ON A FIX.. BUT AS OF NOW, THE EVACUATING CIVILIANS ARE LEFT TO ME TO DEFEND... THE ONGOING THREAT IS MAKING ME QUESTION THE PURPOSE OF TRYING TO SAVE THE PLANET... I PERSONALLY LEVELED AND REMOVED ALL THE THE TREES AND ENVIRONMENT ON THIS ONCE BEAUTIFUL PLANET, AND REDUCED IT TO CRATERS AND ASH WITH SEVERAL 500KG BOMBS AND NUCLEAR ARTILLERY - AND YET, THEY COME. MACHINES DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PLANET. ONLY TO KILL.

I WILL SHOW NO MERCY.

When i was growing up, my first real time investing games were the Tomb Raider series. I remember the hours and hours I put into each and every game, making sure to get all the hidden secrets, even getting the sweet paper guides for them after I had been driven mad in Tomb Raider II and it's sneaky secret areas. I was so excited when I saw this game being truly remastered, not remade like Anniversary (not a bad game, just wasn't the same feel). I originally had issues with the game camera that made me not fully enjoy the game experience, however pressing the "Look" button recenters and clears it up. Not a great thing to have to do, but an easy fix if that is the hangup you face as well. Game plays great otherwise, I'll more than likely be playing this quite often as games of this caliper are hard to get nowadays.

I had my doubts that this was going to reignite my passion for resident evil. I had my doubts that the first person immersive gameplay would work for a resident evil game. Boy, was I wrong as hell. This game kept me at the edge of my seat THE ENTIRE TIME. Planning around boss fights, trying to 100% the areas just for survival, this game had it all. Some may say that its a bit short, I would strongly disagree. This game is perfectly done, down to the basic linear programming.

TLTR: 10/10 would knife the bosses again

10/10 would be tortured again
