Early Access Review
as an autistic person this game is like a deep brain massage. excellent way to spend 10+ hours with absolutely nothing going on in your head.

my only suggestions to improve the game are:
- the ability to tune "difficulty' or how much of an object needs to be cleaned before it auto-completes. some objects felt impossible to clean thoroughly while others finished long before I felt they were "ready"
- a little work needs to be done with the way ladders, scaffolding, and stairs operate. I can understand slip-n-sliding off roofs, but standing on a ladder should be exempt from that.
- a silly suggestion: soccer goals for the soccer balls in the playground and skate park levels. it'd be really neat to "play" with them in that sense, and maybe unlock an achievement in the process.

overall 9/10 experience. i can't wait to see what the devs add to it because this has been the most enjoyable couple of days i've had in a while, lmao

edit after 0.5 content update: They fixed the slippy roofs! They fixed the reticle issues! They added more gnomes!
I hereby boost my rating to a 10/10. These devs are the best.

stayed up all night playing this. made me cry a lil bit.
the inclusion of all the gnder and sexuality spectrum is so refreshing and doesn't feel forced at all. it's seamlessly integrated into the story without feeling like it's being pushed for morality points.
10/10 almost definitely gonna come back and get the DLC once i have the cash for it :]

honestly one of the most satisfying rhythm games i've played in ages (yes, that includes beat saber)
not a HUGE selection of songs just yet, but i'm hopeful for a lot more in the future! if they add custom mapping to this game i'd be lost to the world forever. it's just real freakin' satisfying to play, man.

I'd have to be a lil bit insane to not recommend this game. This has become THE quintessential VR experience, and half the reason I bought my headset at all. One of the few rhythm games I'm okay with sucking at, because it's just so damn fun.

Excellent music, dynamic and evolving gameplay, fun dialogue and story, and great voice-acting. I have no complaints, even knowing this is an early-access build. Scratches a roguelike itch that's been around since Binding of Isaac.

FaceRig, while still very much in beta, is looking awesome. I bought it on impulse after seeing a post about it on Imgur, and I regret absolutely nothing. Some things need ironing out - the lip sync feature picks up heavily on atmospheric noise, and the props need a bit of finishing up, along with the other promised features - but so far it's looking awesome. The models available are well done and super-entertaining to use. Danny (the anthropomorphic wolf model) has personality and is my most-often used model. I may never show my sun-deprived, Falmer-like mug on webcam ever again.
