Es gibt negative Reviews und Reviews von Leuten die Fähig sind das Spiel richtig einzustellen, zu spielen und zu schätzen. Warte auf ne Fortsetzung seit Jahren, da es eines der entspannendsten Spiele ist die ich kenne. Die Atmosphäre, von einer verlassenen Insel mit mysteriösen Orten und interessant schönen Landschaften, ist sehr gelungen. Die Puzzle sind interessant auch wenn nicht besonders schwer. Sie testen eher die Geschicklichkeit des Spielers. Ich selber empfehle das Spiel gerne weiter.

A pretty damn good game. It doesn't have the best graphics, but it has a lot of content and has a nice atmosphere. You have plenty stuff to do and the maps are great. Wide open lands where you need pretty long to get across. You also have the possibility to teleport to certain points.
Don't get irritated by it's bad reviewing quote, but many (kids/)players don't get the game and want fast action. Many of the young players are used to very low quality but fast action games like CoD, but this game has very much content and a pretty good quality. It just needs a little bit of time to get used to the game.

Worst update ever. Please listen to the community (not only the paying one, also the ones who play it and attrac new players!) or your game will loose its last passionate player!!!

Senseless gameplay but addictive as hell.

Ich warte sehnlichst nach der Fortsetzung dieses Spiels denn es hat eine verwirrende aber gute Story.

Die Grafik ist sehr gelungen und passt zu der Atmosphäre zusammen. Es hat sehr düstere Parts wie auch normale oder schier Idyllische Szenerien.

Die Steuerung scheint zu Beginn für den Müll zu sein, vorallem für diejenigen die kaum Spiele mit 3rd-Person-Ansicht spielen. Doch nach kürzester Zeit gewöhnt man sich daran, schneller als in Spielen wie Dead Space, da man in Alan Wake sich nicht oder kaum durch enge Räume zwängen muss wo einem die Sicht zum Verhängnis wird.

Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist recht angenehm und man kommt eigentlich fast Problemlos weiter. Ich habe es als OK empfunden, dass nicht zuviel Wert auf Schiessereien gesetzt wurde, selbst wenn dies sehr oft vorkommt. In manchen momenten werden sie etwas zur Last aber sie sind unter anderem die Darstellung des Dunkeln welche zunehmend die Geschichte ergreift, weswegen ich es als passend empfand.

Die Story ist interessant und die Texte die man dazu liest auch nicht schlecht geschrieben. Ob da in Wirklichkeit auch Schriftsteller am Werk waren weiss ich nicht, aber es ist gelungen. Die Story packt einen (oder zumindest mich) und man will schnell erfahren was als nächstes passiert. Ich selbst war derart neugierig, dass ich die ganze Weihnachtswoche an dem Spiel sass, um das nächste Kapitel zu erfahren.

Leider endet die Geschichte mit einem mega Cliffhanger wo selbst Alan Wake - American Nightmare nur für wenig Aufklärung sorgt (aber genug um über den Verbleib zu erfahren), weswegen ich seit bald schon 2 Jahren eine Fortsetzung erwarte.

Jedoch haben die gesagt, da der Erfolg mit Alan Wake nur langsam kam, werden sie etwas warten bevor sie Teil 2 machen falls sie einen machen. Ich hoffe sehr darauf, jedoch sollte er ähnlich gut werden wie Teil 1.

This game is special as I have never seen it before. As you can see, it has great graphics and the atmosphere is so special. It is astonishing.
It lets you think about yourself, our society, our history, our future and why we are what we are. It gives a lot of questions but the game sometimes let you find answers about the question. I'm defenately not the one, who loves to read long textes in games, but this game was an exception. I read every text and searched for more because they are so critical about everything or have good storys to tell. It is really interesting. Interesting as the philosophy lessons should be. Defenately worth to buy it (support this team, they do a great work!), to play it and to think about it.

Same paths of life appear so different to other people...

Controls are difficult but not impossible, but anyway, there are no players. They didn't had many ideas when they made this game. It's only this thing. And even the trailer is laggy.

It's a really good game and it's not an easy but a possible challange to beat the game. I haver never played such an intelligent game which is so simple in its design before. I really liked playing it even though it has no clear story. I has some wise hints in the game which makes it at some points easier but also more interesting.
At some points I was also scared. Not because it has some scary content, but my brain made me feel kind of scared of the game or my brain when I played this game. It felt kind of crazy and I don't know what really happened to me and I don't know if I am the only one. But if you like puzzle games and you want to test your abilities in it, I would totally recommend you to experience the game.
