Don't need a beefy rig, just pure fun overload. If you're looking for a metroidvania style of game with super easy combat mechanics, and a not-so-punishing game, then this is an easy recommend. It has a unique artstyle, a unique base management system which plays a crucial part of the gameplay. It doesn't feel like a chore to manage your cult/base and the gameplay is well balanced between combat runs and taking care of your cult. Overall, a solid game!

This game is definitely an improvement over its predecessor in terms of story, gameplay, and the traversal system. The parkour is polished and the traversal is fun, yet frustrating at times. The first part had a terrible ending and a terrible boss fight. However, this one has a much better boss battle and an ending - not a satisfied one for me. The game has multiple endings, though, so your opinion might vary. Overall a decent game and a step up from the first. The zombie genre is kind of losing its charm and excitement, but its a good pick on sale.

If you don't have a thriller/horror game on your Netflix watchlist, you can give this game a try. The story is fine and the gameplay too. The ending - ah! It was not the best in my opinion. I felt Until Dawn had a much better ending and a proper closure to all characters. For a full price game, not having ultrawide monitor support sucks . I played this game with black bars on the side and it was not an immersive experience. Pick it up on sale - definitely a few hours of entertainment.

The zombie genre is kind of crowded with a lot of games. However, Dying Light does a few things better which makes it stand out from the crowd.

To start off with - the gameplay is what makes it feel unique. The parkour system with zombies around make it an interesting traversal option. The missions at night add a horror element to the game as the zombies are far brutal at night. The story is cliched, though - but I guess no zombie game has a really good story. The closest with a good story was Days Gone and The Last of Us. If you'd wish to play in co-op, the game is definitely fun, but it removes the dark and horror tone of the game.

Since this game has gotten a lot of expansions and quality of life improvements, I definitely recommend this for people fan of the zombie/horror games, unless you're not burnt out of the genre.

If you love the mafia/shooter genre, then this game is really a good choice. The remastered version is on point - in terms of graphics, shooting mechanics, etc. It's not the longest game, but definitely a fun title.

Gosh! After playing this game for 60 odd hours, I feel a sense of satisfaction and melancholy. This game was crowned one of the best RPGs for a reason. The gameplay is such - that one never gives up on it, and tries to go leap and bounds to find one hidden chest or a diagram in the far end of the world; such is the nature of this game. This game improves on every bit from Witcher 2 (PS: I loved that game, too). The combat, the graphics, the fast travel, nearly everything is a fine polish. The soundtrack, need not mention; It's freaking amazing. The game has multiple endings - which i adore. Unfortunately, I screwed up a few choices and wound up feeling hopeless. But that fear mustn't deter others to experience the game. I haven't played the dlc, though, but i'm itching to play it as soon as i'm done typing this :P Overall - take a bow, CD PROJECT RED!

Can't wait for CYBERPUNK 2077 :)

I've been a Star Wars fan since I began watching it, and I still am despite the not-so-great movies. The fan in me always wanted a great Star Wars game. Though there were battlefront games in the past, I wanted something for this gen. And EA obviously screwed both the games, so the expectation, initially, was a bit low for this game. But I was proven wrong. The combat is really good (Play it on medium difficulty, or else on Jedi Master if you're a Dark Souls fan), the graphics are really good (not mind blowing like battlefront), and the story is also quite decent. Though the game borrows heavily from Dark Souls, it never bugged me in any way. Overall, I really liked the game and I hope Respawn would make another sequel to this.

Definitely recommend this.

Never thought that i'd be reviewing a Call of Duty game. Nevertheless, here's my take on the game. I'll start off with the positives and what i liked about this game, and then bash the game later. The game's level design is a strong point; the variation of the levels and maps are quite interesting to play. The soundtrack and the voice acting is also pretty good. Considering the year in which it was released, the graphics are good and can still hold up in 2018; doesn't look dated. There are a plethora of guns, and some of them are really good with the right attachments, you can customize them before the starting of each mission. All these are some of the plus points. However, the story is actually a product of some really lazy writing. Granted there is a twist at the end, but you can sorta predict already. Even now, there are a few glitches and bugs, the game crashes sometimes in between missions; just annoying. The gun sounds, especially a key part in fps games, don't sound good(compared with battlefield atleast). The climax is laughable, i thought there would be some qte fight, but that wasn't the case. I'm playing this is 2018 and the multiplayer is dead, and i haven't played the zombie version. Overall the game is very much scripted and linear, you really don't find yourself in cleverly flanking the enemies or using some different startegies. The partner AI is worthless, it feels as if you're the only one going on a killing spree. I played it on the second most highest difficulty, and i felt it could be more challenging.

All in all, i really can't say YES or NO to this game, but if you're a COD fan, i'm assuming you might have already played it. And if you are new to the COD franchise, or who hasn't played any COD game for a long time, this game is for you to try.

My rating: 6.5/10(excluding multiplayer and zombie mode)

I'm basically a fan of RPG games and Witcher 2 has satisfied my expectations. This review is from a person who hasn't played the witcher 3, so i wouldn't be able to make any direct comparisions with its successor. Instead of writing a huge ass passage, i'd like to break this game down into its pros and cons. Let's start with the cons(trying to get it off of my mind as soon as i can)
Cons:
1) This might be a deal breaker for a few rpg fans - There is NO FAST TRAVEL. You are left to explore the vivacious and gorgeous landscapes on foot.
2) Geralt, the protagonist, can't jump down or climb up very small ledges or rocks which is quite annoying sometimes. He also can't swim in water beyond a certain point.
3) I played it on the sort of medium difficulty level, and the boss battles are sorta lackluster in my opinion. They could have been a bit more challenging. With a few upgrades to your swords, armors, and by consuming a few potions, you'll be able to defeat most of the bosses and enemies easily.
4) The sword play is excellent, dont get me wrong there. However, you won't be using the parrying mecahnic or maybe the block with your sword mechanic. Albeit those depend on the way the player plays, incorporating those further into the gameplay would have been amazing.
5) Geralt can't really sprint, but he's not slow either. I'd like if they added a sprint mechanic; but i'm just nitpicking here.

Pros:
1) This game hands down, even in 2018, is the best looking game at high detail. You need a really competent card to be able to run it at its maximum detail. The landscapes are breathtakingly beautiful.
2) The story is a really strong point here, and plays a pivotal part in setting up the next witcher game. It's intricate and your decisions matter the most, and can turn the game according to it.
3) The voice acting is also superb, period.
4) The main quests are interesting, and the side quests also provide good variety.

If you're a fan of RPG games, just for the love of god, get it. But, i'd recommend to wait for a sale, as it provides sufficient quality for the price.

Overall: 8/10
