So yeah it took me about 20 hours to see the credits but as with other monster hunter games that part is like a long tutorial. The real fun and challenge starts at high rank onward. Best with a buddy but can be played completely solo with ai cats and dogs (really useful this time around).

After all the years that I played it on ps2, I forgot how fun this game is.
If you were disappointed by Yooka Laylee I suggest you try this one, it might not be as flashy as some new games but it definitely have character, identity and the graphic are nicely stylized.
As far as port quality goes it seems perfect.
Definitely recommended, it's well worth your money and time.

Good game with 360 degree shooting The game plays in four biomes (sky islands, factory, cave systems and chaos) which have separate levels in them accessible from overworld map (no free roam just level select map).
In each handcrafted level you can collect new equipment (weapons, engines, relics, armor and reactors) and crystals which you can spend on new equipment as well once you collected 10.
Weapons all feel different and useful so you can choose what complements your playstyle , even the basic flak canon and machinegun you get from the start can get you thru the whole game if they fit your playstyle.
It's important to notice that your projectiles retain your momentum. For example if you are using a heavy mine and shooting backwards the mine can still follow your direction albeit slower because the projectile original speed is slower than your movement at the time.
It might not be the longest game you are going to play but for the price its definitely worth it to at least try it.

One of the few early acces games where is enough conntent to warrnant a buy without a sale.
Controlls are tight, tons of things to unlock and overall the game is fun. definetly give it a try if you like arcade flight sims.

A great Shoot 'em up with tons of content and replay value.

Ok so this game is kinda great, weapons feel powerfull and there is a lot of feedback from them (be it gore, screen shake or sounds).
Magic is also a viable option and you can even parry when twohanding a greatsword which is a thing I always wanted in dark souls.
This game is not easy but feel realy fair and all my deaths were caused by me being clumsy, in other words no luck based deaths just your own skill.

Fast, fun and runs great. If you want a great rogue-lite Fps with tight controls and detailed environments then look no further. It's obvious that there was a lot of work put into this.

A rogue-lite shooter with diverse funny characters a bit of story and lot of booze induced boosts
+ It's funny to look at
+ fun dialogues
+ there are no dull moments
+ dev is active on the bug report forums
+ has the "one more time" effect(coud be a negative when you need to go to sleep)
- graphics won't please everyone (i don't personaly mind)
- might be a bit too much of a fallout parody
