I've enjoyed 14 of the 15 minutes I've spent playing this game. The last minute I was frustrated that the game was calling me out for wanting to ragequit.
The radio selection of this game is much better than that of the competing, GTAV.

For the complaints I see about this game not running smoothly, they are mostly coming from AMD users. For the AMD users who bought an AMD card expecting a high quality gaming experience, rethink your choices. That's what happens when you put price over quality.
The gameplay here is awesome. You get a huge map that is very non-linear. You can freeroam all you want, killing tons of zombies. The free-running is done amazingly well.
Tons of ways to upgrade your weapons to make slaying these zombies much more fun! The skilltries also add to the fun of the game, such as making your freerunning skills improve the more you "practice" them.
The Co-op is very fun, as well. If you finish the game, go play with a friend that has it. Or, try "Be the Zombie" mode and invade your friend!
This game is well worth the price!

I'd like to start off by saying that you'll love this game if you're a mindless fanboy that doesn't care about the gameplay itself. If you yearn just to have another "Borderlands" title in your library just because, then you're obviously going to buy this and give it an amazing review for stupid reasons.

That being said, I'm not advising others to stay away because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Perhaps it has an amazing ending, I'm not sure yet. However, do NOT pay $60 for this game. This game is worth maybe $15-$30 ($30 is being generous, in my honest opinion). Why? Well, it's quite obvious that little to no effort was put into making a "new" borderlands game. first thing you will notice is that the main menu when you load this game is dragged completely out of Borderlands 2, it just has a different background with a different charaqter standing in the middle. The HUD is from Borderlands 2. No, it's not just close, it is literally FROM Borderlands too. That can be said for all of the menus as well. It's also running the same engine with the same looks. The only thing new here is the story. Kinda. These are all characters from other games (for the most part). Yes, I know, hence, "The Pre-Sequel", but I truely believe that title is just an excuse for a complete recycling of Borderlands 2. This game would make a well thought out DLC, but it is not a game, in itself. There is nothing new here.

So, I recommend you not purchase this game for anything more than you would feel comfortable spending on one DLC expansion for Borderlands 2.

Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for this game.

If you enjoyed Metro: 2033, you'll love Last Light. A great, suspenseful game with a meaningful ending. If you haven't played 2033, go pick it up in a sale for way less than it is worth, beat it, and come buy this.
