I'd like to start off by saying that you'll love this game if you're a mindless fanboy that doesn't care about the gameplay itself. If you yearn just to have another "Borderlands" title in your library just because, then you're obviously going to buy this and give it an amazing review for stupid reasons.

That being said, I'm not advising others to stay away because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Perhaps it has an amazing ending, I'm not sure yet. However, do NOT pay $60 for this game. This game is worth maybe $15-$30 ($30 is being generous, in my honest opinion). Why? Well, it's quite obvious that little to no effort was put into making a "new" borderlands game. first thing you will notice is that the main menu when you load this game is dragged completely out of Borderlands 2, it just has a different background with a different charaqter standing in the middle. The HUD is from Borderlands 2. No, it's not just close, it is literally FROM Borderlands too. That can be said for all of the menus as well. It's also running the same engine with the same looks. The only thing new here is the story. Kinda. These are all characters from other games (for the most part). Yes, I know, hence, "The Pre-Sequel", but I truely believe that title is just an excuse for a complete recycling of Borderlands 2. This game would make a well thought out DLC, but it is not a game, in itself. There is nothing new here.

So, I recommend you not purchase this game for anything more than you would feel comfortable spending on one DLC expansion for Borderlands 2.

Thank goodness I didn't have to pay for this game.

I've noticed someting interesting so far. I only have 3 hours, but I could tell it is a bit based off of Borderlands 2. The first mission you fight your way through soldiers and protect jack. The next one you have to go somewhere were someone will help you. Abit like Sir Hammerlock. Then the next one, there is an EXTREMELY hard boss, who looks like and is just as powerful as Captain Flint. Honestly, this doesn't dissapoint me because there are a bunch of mechanics in the gameplay that have changed, such as gravity.

You played 1 hour of gameplay. Literally 1 hour.

The HUD and AI and some sounds are the same which can be disapointing at times, so I'll give you props on that, but playing a fraction of a game and reviewing it is like reading 30 pages in a book and then writing your opinon.

Honestly, I agree, for the most part that you can't really judge a game based on one hour of gameplay, becaues for all I know, the storyline may be amazing. Thats why I stated that in the review. However, I can't get passed those things that seem like they literally just ripped it out of BL2. From a series with such a large following, it's not rediculous to expect more.

I don't think you should be able to judge from just 1 hr of gameplay. However, for the menu thing, I have to agree.
