Solid 6-7/10 game for me, it's not outstanding, but is definitely fun to play. Especially with siege removing every last PvE mode from it, this is the next best thing. Get it on sale if you enjoyed terrorist hunt or the Scenarios in siege before their removal.

Level design is lacking, and the animations aren't very well done either. Plays like something I've made, and the difficulty curve makes it feel like you're playing NUTS.wad. Overall, go download some of the fun, free mods available.

Even after 3 years of early access, they still haven't delivered on the promised experience, but instead have focused mainly on patching content, as well as adding in more NVIDIA Raytracing features that nobody can use, nor has asked for, as well as some samsung renderer feature. It feels like they're adding features only for people with 4090s and extreme high-end setups, not to fix the lag that pervades the game, even now (I say this with a 3070ti, a card that should be managing well over the ~55-80 fps I am getting.)

A big issue with trying to criticize this game is that people simply parrot the same lines praising it, such as "A true masterpiece" and "A labor of love" or whatever else the game reviewers have as quoted blurbs. You can enjoy a game and still be critical of it, which is why I took the time to write this out, there's too much wrong with this game, it needs to improve for EVERYONE, not just the niche of high-spec streamers.

The world still feels somewhat dead, even with the police chases and random gang attacks added lately, almost feature-complete, like a late-stage alpha or early beta. They did, however, finally make a pass at fixing bike handling, even if car physics overall are still very bouncy, they're better than launch.

Overall, I still don't recommend the game, it feels like it's a couple more years out at this rate.

They're shutting down the Crew 1, and just like Accursed Farms predicted, they are offering NO form of offline alternative. Cool. Here's hoping they don't pull the same BS with this one (I know they will, I have no faith in this company.)

It's been in ALPHA for 10 years, not even a feature-complete state. Even zomboid has had more progress in that time, and that had a years-long hiatus. I'm sorry, but spend your money elsewhere.

The game uses AI voices for both the announcers and characters, so DEFINITELY do not give them money.
Also not a fan of being unable to acquire premium currency without spending real world money, but I get that it's a F2P game.
I still love the incredibly fast TTK and fast-paced action, despite the dumb decision for AI voice acting. Makes me more frustrated than anything, as this game is amazingly put together otherwise, and incredibly fun.

I want to like it, but there's no transfer of progress from the old game, as well as there being so many issues with netcode, it's just not fun anymore. I don't enjoy being sniped through walls, it's not fun.

Pretty decent concept, but is severely lacking in content.
Only 6 vehicles for you to work on, and even then, it doesn't allow you to take apart or customize the engines, simply swap in or out "better" ones. The "original" adjectives on a lot of parts seems to imply we'd get to change them out for aftermarket ones, but there are none to be found. Driving mechanics are fine, but the lack of skidplates or rock sliders is a bit disappointing from a gameplay perspective.

Honestly, wait for a sale, or for them to add more stuff to actually use/customize.

EDIT: Devs are moving the game to unreal 5, things are looking up quite a bit!
Fantastic base of a game, but not much content unless you LOVE the Honda Civic EG6 more than life itself.
Very few events on the map, as it is the initial release.
Only 6 vehicles (the kei truck doesn't have much use outside of deliveries, and the SA3 is the same car as the SA2)
Keep an eye on this one, the devs have set forth a great-handling car model for this game, it can only improve with time and effort.
