Going into BioShock Infinite I was sure what to expect. It seemed like it would be really different from the first two, and it was, but in a good way. It was fresh, something new. I really enjoyed it the entire way through and it had a deep story to it. No spoilers, but I thought that the ending was really good. I had heard a lot of complaints about it, but I guess different people-different opinions.
The game itself had me entertained through pretty much the whole thing. It has a lot more "slow" moments than the first two did, but it gives you a chance to look around the incredible environment. My computer is too weak to turn the settings way up, but even on mid-low, the scenery is just wow good. It took me a while to re-learn everything with the different names and effects, but the learning curve isn't too bad.
While I definitely miss Rapture, I'm glad they didn't drag it into the ground and I can happily remember it. Columbia is a really interesting world to explore. BioShock Infinite is also much less linear than BioShock 2 was, and probably even less then the first one. You can go back to different areas fairly often, and your not "trapped" to one place.
Overall, I would definitely recommend BioShock Infinite as I had a load of fun playing it for the roughly 13 hours it took to beat it. It really got me into it and I had trouble taking a break. Great game.
