Watson:
40 is the absolute over red rover no return age
35 is pretty much its over except for absolute bottom settling , where one may have a chance at a perfectly sub-average life
30 is nominal over
25 is over for a successful happy life

When three black kings talk, I sit down and listen. It's called being a decent human being and not forgetting the USS Liberty, the Lavon Affair or Apollo Affair while I'm doing it for my daughter and getting a new bowl cut with Arthur Morgan in the hood...

My issue is that i have already wasted half a decade not drawing and putting it off so it feels like a retarded candy corn idea to even try after all this time. I have 4k hours in Factorio.

I just want to be good at something.
I don't know. I guess all i can realistically do is just try to put as much time into it as possible and do that every day and hope for the best.
I'm worried that my best isn't very good at all. What if i'm one of the subhuman people who don't do things.

You don't really have to do much to excel. All you have to do is the bare minimum; just do the bare minimum for ten years and you'll be fine. You'll have whatever you think you'll have at the end of that. Any effort you can put in beyond that, the better, but you're competing with people who are on fentanyl, basically; you're competing with people who take downers recreationally and are addicted to porn. It's really not that hard. It won't be hard to excel in ten years. If you're a young man, and you feel like the world is closing in and becoming a darker place: just know that it's always felt that way, and you're in an age right now where if you put in a little bit of effort and, more importantly, can be consistent about it and not fall prey to any of the variety of hazards that are out there, you'll be fine. Not only that, but you'll probably excel.

You're neurotic. You won't ever start.
