Way better than the "classic collection", doesn't take 60gb of hard drive, doesn't take 10 minutes just to lauch a lobby, doesn't crash you for no reason, doesn't have the annoying "connection to the host was lost" problem. In other words they better invest money in 19 year old game , rather than creating a 40 dollar cash grab that doesn't even work properly.

So much hope I had for this game but in the end I have faced a dissapointment...
Broken servers that either kick you out saying that "connection to the host was lost" or just crash the whole game for no reason, it happened when I typed in the chat whether I should refund this game (lmao, guess the game provided me an answer for that question). I genuinely was so happy to experience the old classics with additional content and revived multiplayer but I feel that the life-cycle of this product will end within two weeks of the actual release if the Aspyr won't fix the game (which most likely will never happen) even if they fix it, it is going to be too late, gamers won't give it a second chance.
I highly recommend buying both original games, which are way cheaper, don't have as many connection and servers issues as this "re-release" as far as I am concerned. Just a couple of mods and you are ready to go.
3/10
After almost a year they still sell it for basically full price...

I have personlal history with GTA III. It all started in around 2007-2008 when I got my first PC and one of the first games installed was this title (not the remastered one but it's basically the same game). I remembered this game as a videogame where protagonist doesn't say a single word and lacks charisma. Still I decided to buy the definitive trilogy 15 years after first playing this game, to my surprise introverted character and repetitive tasks seemed not as bad as I have remembered it. Updated graphics contributed the most at this point (yes I am aware that majority of gamers compare it to cartoonish animations) but I still enjoyed the new textures and effects. I can barely say anything about the main campaign since it's one of the if not the shortest campaigns in GTA history, however I still have managed to enjoy it mostly because I always had the radio turned on (Gta 3 songs are really nostalgic for me and I even spent some time riding around the map just listening to classics).
Overall:
I have tobe honest, I came up with this review just beacause of the Steam nominations and it was the only game I could nominate from the ones I have installed. BUT, it doesn't change the fact that it this game is quite enjoyable journey to tune in. I would really recommend to play this game for people who played it in the past like I did, for the ones who are new to the title please play the original ones, since this remaster might depict some of the things the original game had in a wrong way.

Bioshock 2 ...
Originally I bought Bioshock Collection in late 2020, started with the first one and eventually beat it in August 2023 ( yes I am a slowpoke). I decided to jump straight into the following title, I didn't have much of expectations for it.
However, from the very beginning I was genuinely interested in the history behind Subject Delta and how the Rapture continued its existence after the events of first Bioshock. I couldn't believe how captivated I was by the plot, atmosphere of a good old Rapture and updated mechanics which I truly enjoyed.
It's worth mentioning that game is technically worse than its predecessor, since when you are in the middle of a battle and listening to a diary or a message from one of the characters, audio focuses on diary and sounds from the fight are barely noticeable, plus it completely ruins the atmosphere. During my playthrough I experienced crashes 4 times ( mostly in the ending of a main campaign), considering that certain gamers faced crashes every 5 minutes I can state that I was quite a lucky one.
Now let's sum up what we have here. PROS: marvelous and unique story of Subject Delta and another great journey around the Rapture, decent DLC Minerva's Den which can be completed in 3-4 hours. It doesn't associate with the main story of a game but it is still worth playing if you are truly interested in discovering Rapture and its secrets. CONS: potential crashes of the game, poor audio experience (described above), and repetitive tasks (don't want to spoil anything).
Overall, I still recommend this game to everybody who is truly interested in story of the Rapture, who wants to spend some quality time in linear first-person shooter, despite all the downsides it is still enjoyable experience which will definitely provide you with a dose of ADAM, oh sorry I meant serotonin.

I remember the days when I was a little kid, me, my father and my cousin played this game for hours. After around 15 years the game still maintains fun and unique atmosphere, the graphics is on the same level as I remembered it, for some people gameplay is quite generic and banal. But for me this game will always be the example of one of the most genuinely entertaining and captivating games I have ever played.
Thanks to the developers for bringing this legend on Steam, even though this version has some downsides, it didn't affect my experience of tuning back in this title.
Definitely recommend it!

Due to the recent shutdown of ♥♥♥♥, S1X, BOIII, SM2, IW6X initiated by Activision I ask every single true COD fan ( by cod fan I mean person who played real cods, the ones before 2014) to BOYCOTT THE GAME AND STOP SUPPORTING THESE CHEAPSKATES. Any old COD is sold for full price and for some ridiculous price even on sale, moreover the old cods have security problems by which I mean that you can get your vital data stolen by simply logging into the game. When fans create clients which have better matchmaking, safer connection with no SBMM. Activision just takes it down because they ubderstand that nobody wants to play their new games which I call bundle of duty. People want to play real cod, the cod that we all love and respect not some cashgrab with horrendous SBMM.
F to Call of Duty as a series, Activision is probably the best company at .. MAKING THEIR FANS QUIT THE TITLE

Call of Duty Cold War is one of the most underrated CODs ever, it has decent maps, whole spectre of weaponary from melee to rocket launchers, zombies and campaign were actually playable and enjoyable. I mostly play cod for multiplayer so majority of my review is about multiplayer. Many people thought of cold war as an expansion for Warzone and didn't pay much attention to the core game. CW has one of my favourite movement systems among other cods, sniping is actually fun and doesn't make me sweat as it was in MW19, I really enjoy the gun physics despite people saying that it was more reallistic in previous game like come on do you really think that game that has nato and warsaw pact faction fighting in Nevada has to be reallistic? Overall : this cod has included a lot of content from previous titles in terms of maps, guns, calling cards and emblems ( they even put stuff from Blackout) has decent movement, TTK right from BO4 which I love and also it is the only cod from the "battlenet trilogy " (MW19, Cold War, Vanguard) which has active player base, no technical issues on Steam ( just check what's going on in MW19 and you will understand) i give this cod 8/10 for nice multiplayer, not a 10 because of 2 year belated release on Steam and horrific price as for game which is not brand new.
Hope that my review was informative enough for you to decide whether to buy this game.
