I'll be honest. We're gonna miss this game. It was a prime example of 2k's ignorance at a great IP and fishering away their team for a flop of a sequel that was borderlands 3. Gear box did amazing with this game dispite all its flaws at launch, the game slowly became more stable by the middle of its life, but the playerbase never seemed to returned. Only a fair share of people who loved it came back and it had a wonderful and small community making fan art and writing fiction. I got too know some of the roleplay community who wrote and exspanding on the adventures of Solus and the small dying last star.
I fairly enjoyed this most out of the "Hero-Shooter" Genre that spawned out 4 years ago. Yet this game got overshadowed and unfairly compared to Blizzards Overwatch. Battleborn was the more unique and interesting of the two because of the characters and world building and the actual Campaign you played. We could have gotten more if Gearbox stuck to battleborns development. Sadly they had to make the ♥♥♥♥ 3rd entry in Borderlands and well thats how things fell apart.

My freind Captain Chaos has a better explanation of the game-play perspective of Battleborn, I'm not good at leaning into a large writing of how it works but to sum it up. You have alot of characters with diffrent gimmicks and roles, they level up while you play the levels, like some MOBA's let you.

You can choose between 2 choices per level in a augment tree and eventually unlock augments with leveling the character on your player profile. Every character is amazing in their own way. Except Kid Ultra.

Anyways I love this game to bits and as a farewell I have written this reveiw/letter of goodbye thing. I'm sad to see it go.

Overall a really great Gem out there for those who like Co-Op.
I've enjoyed hours of it with my friends and with randoms among the community.
The Devs are also great with managing content and responding too their playerbase.
