Everything in this game feels like it was made by a team that knows what gamers want. The upgrades and unlockables are usually very worthwhile. Lots of QoL features for any kind of player, Responsive and intuitive controls imo and has just the right amount of realism while still letting you get immersed in this mysterious world. The sound design is awesome, it can make things feel tense and everything sounds satisfying. It looks perfect for the style it's going for and the obstacles you can encounter feel pretty fair and reasonable but can still give a nice challenge. The prep work before each run feels nice and important and satisfying to see very tangible progress in what you can and have accomplished. Love it and definitely recommend anyone remotely interested in this game to check it out.

After finally understanding the monstrosity that is this game I can definitively tell you to stay the HELL away from it.

This game is wildly unbalanced. Some ghosts are extremely good to the point of being oppressive meanwhile a lot of them can't do anything in chase or to to get to where you need to go. Vaults and climbables might as well not exist because they're janky for humans and ghosts basically experience no penalty to traverse them. You'll encounter the same 3/4 ghosts and get bodied as humans or you'll try to experiment with some ghosts and do the same thing inversely. Hitting people is incredibly inconsistent at times. You can be directly in someones face and it won't connect. It uses a ton of stock sound effects which are extremely jarring and come off as cheap, meanwhile they have so many characters and cosmetics with a functioning battle pass so this game is designed to try and suck as much money out of you as possible. Don't bother reading power or character descriptions, it's blatantly obvious they basically just used a translating service and said, "good enough". I don't know why this game is rated so highly. Maybe it's good with friends but what isn't?

You'll spend 14 hours modding and 30 minutes playing. Then another 3 days modding. Beware

I loooooooove this game. It does so many things right! It has a fresh experience that alot of the newer games have been lacking. The characters all have their unique charm (except my boy dwight who I find lacking, personally). The killers and survivors all have a very steep learning curves and I find myself learning new things every time I play another game. At first I thought this was going to be a weird spin-off of evolve but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The killers are awesome, the experience (for the most part) is awesome and the game look pretty good.

but of course we have some bad parts too
Cons:
-No dedicated servers
-Meh loading times
-Games occasionaly don't load in fully
-The community is brutal always
This game is a ton of fun and I recommend it highly!
