While there are some bugs and the stealth is a bit wonky since enemies can spot you through walls sometimes and in complete darkness.
HAve not have issues with performance that has affected gameplay , however drop down to 30 while going in to settlements from time to time and it goes back up again when everything has loaded in
The game is great fun, the world is beutiful and between the moments of calmness and the storms you have interesting characters and horrifying mutants. If you havent played the previous stalker games this one is a great starting point.

Dig hole get rich.

The game is in a bit of a rough shape at the moment however it is still a fun time to run and stealth your way trough a raid and get into firefights with enemies that usualu outnumbres and outguns you.

The best part is really the athmosphere and the visual and graphical dewsign of the game.

The optimization is better then I expected and while the recommended and minimum specs for your PC are high there are a a pc that is not up to specs(to some degree) can still run the game from what Ive seen from the users in the discord. However this is from PC to PC so might be worth trying and see if you can get 3+-60 fps or not and refund if you cant.

The gameplay can be repetetive however there is potential and the quests put different challanges to spice things up.
The water mechanic is a hit or miss. I do not think it is that bad, managed to gather enough water for 2 months down time in about 6 hours. When the capacity is full the water you gather afterwards is stored in your stash and can be used to fill up so you are never punished for gathering more water even when the reservoir is full however I also understand how that it removing your vendor progress if the water levelkls drop is a mechanic that players dont like.

The worst
There is a mechanic that will spawn enemies with the sole task of hunting you down and kill you and from a combination of the earlty stage of development, bugs and some design choices these are at the moment very game distruptive since they can spawn very adraupt and will basicly stop tyhe raid in its track and you got to try and survive and extract while these thing shoot at you from across the map and dont loose track of you. The main issue is we dont really know exactly what triggers them to spawn except picking up certain items and maybe killing a certain amount of enemies however it is not completly figured out.

BUGS
There are quite a few bugs but luckily nothing that is too game breaking.
The worst from my own experience is that the game crashes when deleting presets
Being unable to revive teammates at rare times,
Being unable to do anything after doing certain interactions

Despite the rough state of then game it is still a fun and interesting experience that I can recommend.
Getting better with every update

Great game and a great community, been some issues with the balancing but for the most parts it is a great game

While the game started out as a mixed bag. There was good stuff, the gameplay, level design and soundtrack and bad stuff, talent tree that wasnt fun, missing crafting options and poor optimization. Fatsharks continuous updates are slowly but surely fixing these issues. The recent talent tree rework and added map is probably the biggest quality of life changes since the release and I can now recommend this game. While it is not a perfect game its a lot of fun.

For anyone thinking about trying this game out, dont fall for this trap of a time waster. You can expect gameplay that you in all fairness will have a hard time finding anyhere else however, the grind progress and earn in game currency is hell and it is only getting worse. You will start at tier 1 with vehicles from early WW2 and it will take you about 4-6 days at best to get to tier 4 and that aint even close the high tier tanks, or you can just spend 50 bucks to skip and then loose time because if you dont spend more you will be stuck at that tier anyway. Gajin actively makes this game worse, they add something, the community hates it, they revert and then change it to that point over a month or so and repeat. Dont start to play this game it is not worth your time.

Fix the steam disconnects, crashes and add a reconnect option and then you get a positive review

As long as the steam disconnect issue is a thing I cant recommend this game. The frustration of playing constantly getting inturupted by a crash and that you cant reconnect in warzone or dmz. That this issue has been in the game for close to a month now is unacceptable.

Update: Issues were fixed and now we have a near perfect game

Managed to get around 3 hours of gameplay in. There was a bit of stuttering and got stuck in the air and then died while being stuck mid air. At this time the 3 hours of gameplay has been great, the world is stunning and filled with a wide variaty of enemies to figth and bosses to challange. However, Ive crashed 1 time and have not been able to play since, why well I just like many other keep crashing durint startup. Easy Anti cheat boots up and then a white screen followed by a blackscreen and then the game crashes. Untill this is fixed I cant recommend the game.

Edit: Game unplayeble around the area StormHill, fram gets constant frame drops depending on were you are standing in the area, you have capped out fps at one spot and under 30 fps 2 m away and nothing graphicly seems to be changing.

Pretty fun idle game, with a good gameplay loop
