Don't know how I got on this kick but.. While I enjoyed the little Intel minis for media servers..The Ryzen 7 7840HS, 8845HS or Ryzen 9 7940HS Mini-PC's with a 780m iGPU makes 1080p gaming finally more of a reality.. kind of equal to a 1060ti with a I7 cpu at a much much smaller footprint. fun times with older and newer titles on the cheap... while still serving up a media center around the house. get a whole PC with Win11 pro for less than the price of an XBOX, PS5 or GPU.. well yeah! amazing MiniPC's.. then you can also find a slightly bigger mini (8in by 8 in) with dedicated RX 6600m etc. Graphics, Win 11, 32gb ram and a 1 TB Nvme, running Triple A titles in 1080p or 1440p at Ultra or High settings near 700-800.00 bucks.. what the heck.... By the end of 2024 there will be the 890m igpu built into CPU's for another Game Changer.. gaming at 1440 high/ultra in the 100+ FPS may not be a reality yet, but it is getting there with no external GPU needed and the price gouging for a GPU will be history... AMD is killing it in the Mini PC market.. goodbye Intel..for now.....

well, you could add an Oculink to a miniPC's Nvme slot or port if available, and for about $400 add a 4060 external GPU setup to any MiniPC.. it never ends.. screw big PC Desktops and even laptops.. so many options during these 2024 days... anyways.. I like GMKtec and the AooStar Gem 12's that have a dedicated port for the Oculink hookups, saving a Nvme slot for storage. the old GTX1070 works fine over 60fps, but the 4060ti works great..all High or Ultra settings jumping over 200fps in some titles.. Oculink "is" the best setup used on all the mini's when needed. Nice eGPU Dock's by Minisforum and AooStar are available. One GPU across an array of Mini's if and when needed, else great performance with win 11 etc. and built in gpu.. and yes, they mix and match..

Added a Samsung Tablet to Cloud game on.. Mobile game on.. draw on.. watch movies on.. etc etc etc... nice Amoled screen.. no regrets yet.. clear..sharp.. screw apple..

Still a Call of Duty Campaign Fan.. after campaigns, I play bots offline.. pretty nice for me.

Buy games as an addiction at this point.. Play solo.. I am anti-social and old.. ;-)

VR had made it back in and back out of my gaming.. it really is a whole new level of gaming.. Honestly though, I am too lazy to grab it and put it on.. collects dust most of the time...

Call of Duty: Ghosts flat out ROCKS !! Best in Series.. Coldwar has nice map selection for Bot play for me.

All the IL-2 stuff rocks.. DCS UH-1H is one helluva chopper to fly and enjoy VC type action.
