The game isnt worth the 70 at its current state. 6v6 has been neglected for going on 3 months as im writing this. Warzone/DMZ has recieved more content in Season 2 than all of season 1 combined. Im sure they will do balancing patches for the weapons in this game... RIght?Edit 3/25/23: Still not worth it.

10/27/2024: Its worth it only for the campaign and zombies. Multiplayer is the definition of crack addicts. If you are one of those people, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself.

Im going to give an honest review from both sides of GTA V being that Ive played on PC and Console.

For story mode, its a classic that will never get old. And if you do get bored of the base game, you can get some mods like Chaos mod or Rainbomizer and make it really interesting and a lot harder. I have learned a lot of cool glitches to use in the base game. For the base game i would give it a solid 9/10.

Time to talk about the elephant in the room. GTA Online. Ive put hundreds of hours on console and experienced a really fun time with the LFG feature on Xbox. On console there is so much more stuff you can do and you can make friends SO much easier than on PC. But this review is for PC! Now i hate to say it but PC GTA Online sucks. It genuinely does. Ive now put about 140 hours into online alone and starting the grind is the worst part. If for some reason in 2022 you dont have the criminal enterprise pack, youre in for a hell of a ride. The only thing i would reccomend is getting some friends (i know its hard but trust me), i would say about 3 or 4 would do the trick, and grind together until you get enough to buy the Kosatka for $2.2M.
Thats just the tip of the ice berg though. Please do remember that there are ways to bring cheats into online. Modders and Godmode players run rampant and the "servers" are p2p. Yikes. A modder can crash your game if they truely feel like they want to get rid of you and never come back.
The game has a lot going for it, but rockstar is never going to truely make the game good again unless they fix the problems with the game. Yes, you can have the best experience, but the bleak truth is that Rockstar has given up on this game.

Online 4/10

if youre going to play this game, it will be a part of your life. Unlike my father.
