I decided to write a review for Shadow Warrior because I was not expecting much from it at all, and for a game that surpised me this much I decided, ♥♥♥♥ it why not. I went into it like I was going to the cinema to see The Expendables or something, I dont care about the characters or the story but the action should be quite good. Instantly your introduced to your character Lo Wang, who made me like him in about 5 minutes flat. Filled with dirty jokes and childish puns and plays on the word "Wang" it was right up my street. At the start you also meet your demon sidekick Hoji. Together you form one of the most amusing and entertaining narrative duos I have experinced in a long time. The story is told well, revealing bits here and there before a mild suprise at the end. The combat is so tight, and probably has the best swordplay in a game I have ever seen. The game wants you to feel like a badass, you dont scrabble around for ammo and health picking winnable battles against much stronger oppenents, something games seem to love these days. No, the game wants you to feel like this sword weilding superhero and you do. The more enemies you had to deal with the more powerful I felt. The game is reference heavy, something I love and the secrets actually feel worth the time to hunt out since they are rewards in game not unlocking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ concept art or something.

10/10 would Wang Again.
