Digital storefront disguised as military sim. Op tanks you are not allowed to use because you didn't give winton churchhill a rusty trombone in 2013. Community circle jerks about dominating the new player lobbies. Can be entertaining once you get through the abysmal on boarding experience they've only had 11 years to iron out. Just expect to grind for ages unless you want to support the developers. From everything i have seen, don't expect problems with design or maps to be fixed at any point in the future.

Hopefully the Germaniacs don't see this, I don't think I can stand to see another one say how Hitler could have won.

you start out with the most basic useless crap, this is so you don't learn how to look for ghosts the right way. Bringing anything you start with makes it harder fo your team if you play with other people, so that way you don't have to learn how to use or understand the games ui. This all a very good design decision I'm sure. It's the same game from 4 years but they took all your xp away and added anti cheat to a strictly pve game. what a steal.

Maybe one of the worst games i have played. Genuinely some castle miners Z garbage.

If you turn into a puma as a druid your attack range is made into a sneeze and some enemies cannot hit you because you are too short.

I'm sure the devs did the best they could.

There is a reason only one third of people who own this game have completed episode one. It gets very repetitive. Levels are very classic, in the maze with keys sort of way, not necessarily a good or bad thing but it's not exactly modern level design. It's also just very long, which is again, not a good or bad thing by itself, but it does mean you spend a lot of time in levels that are not very interesting. A perfectly functional retro shooter, but not one that I would recommend to anyone who doesn't already love retro shooters.

Basically everything is great but the final boss is such a nuclear letdown I think it drops it down a few points. Some "new" weapons are just old weapon models with new names and different scaling or skills. Dragons and furnace gollems are both really boring and time consuming to fight, and there's too many of them. Besides all that the dlc is great. 7/10

I still can't believe the final boss is literally just Radahn with feet. I wish they made it anything else. I would settle for godskin trio if it means the final boss isn't a complete waste of space. At least godskin trio would be funny.

Very solid shooter. The guns are great, levels feel distinct from each other and there's a good variety of enemies that are all fun to engage with. Absolutely worth the ten dollars, cultic is a fantastic game.

Compared to release, the game is much more functional. Most systems work most of the time. Which isn't perfect but it doesn't really need to be. The game is fun to play and I think that's the most important part.

You will be here forever. You will enjoy the gondola ride. You will be happy about the puzzle design. You will carry the chunks of random crap for way too long and you will like it. You will especially enjoy the gondola ride the fifth time.

A deeply flawed game that still manages to be a lot of good fun. My main gripes are variety and bugs, the game crashes and some weapon decisions make no sense. That being said the gameplay loop of walking through cramped hallways and wide open caverns and cathedrals all the while murdering space bugs is great. The one shots, on the other hand, take you out of the fun so fast you won't notice until it calls you a shame on your chapter. Then we get to team comp. Anything plus a chaplain and an apothecary will work. That being said chaplain and apothecary are not the most interesting characters in the game, their abilities are completely support and survival oriented. While you have guys that shoot lightning or go brrrrr or swing thunder hammers. And the two boring guys are required. Though they aren't that boring still, you have fun guns and the gameplay is fun. At the end of the day, if you have friends who like lobby shooters, this is a good investment for a few dozen hours of fun and some mild frustrations.
