Socially you can do everything you want here, hang out, play games, watch media, listen to music, work together on stuff, etc.
There'S not really anything in here you can't do.

If you've played titles like Little Big Planet, the core premise should be a bit familiar to you also, instead of just being a pre made experience it is a platform for people to make their own experences and also to just hang out within those experiences.

Theres Games, Chill worlds, Educational worlds, Avatar worlds etc


For the sake of full disclosure i will say though that I was a tester for this application and due to this may of course be biased

Pretty decent game.
Space Combat is fun
Ground combat is fun
Mission variety so far has been pretty neat.
If you like this sort of Fallout/Skyrim-ish style RPG and you like space combat you'll probably like this

Obvious note here that Starfield is not a seamless open world game its instance based
The ship engines are also based more around combat speed than travel speed so they dont exceed around 300KM/h meaning that youre not using them for traveling between planets, your grav drive is for that.

If this not being a sim game is a deal breaker for you, then dont buy it, otherwise enjoy

It's decent

There's some dialogue option isues where characters will know something you havent told them but those are usually minor detail overisghts

Beyond that the gameplay is fun, and modding seems to be going strong to add even more fun
Cant have DND without homebrew

A nice experience, not perfect bu definitely enjoyable

Edit: So the developers responded to this by copypasting some message about bug reporting that has absolutely nothing to do with anything the review talks about, wow thanks for ruining any hopes i had for the future!

This is the singular most "Yeah we had to get it out the door" barebones dreg.

Host Migration no longer exists meaning if the host rage quits we all die.
On the point of hosting, good luck, quick match is the only regular way to join someone beyond direct join, there is no server list.
You can not modify any game settings,
Colour and Cosmetic options are not anywhere nearly similiar to the actual game.
Roles straight up don't exist.
Every Crewmate has a toon outline thicker than their whole finger that very obvoulsy clips into itself because its just a lazy toon outline cranked up to max.

Honestly I would commend the devs for tipping their toes into VR, working with the medium can be quite challenging when adapting things.
However this does not excuse how terribly this was executed not even on the VR elements but lacking core thing todays among us has.

I am honestly dissapointed because not only is this incredibly underwhelming, but the areas it lacks in are incredibly simplistic and would have been incredibly simple to implement.
Especially considering that a lot of the code can be adapted from the original such as Game mode variances.

So for all this unless you are a 13 year old looking to mindlessly scream racist slurs at other 13 year olds, i do not recommend Among us VR.

Fun game,does exactly what it was advertised to do.

Some people seem to not understand that,

What you get is a gameified showcase of what the marrow engine is capable of today in order for people to expand upon it in the future, it's more an investment for when modding really takes off than anything.

Gunplay is pretty tight also.

I used to play VRC a lot, i've always dislike their strange aggressive stance against modding and some of the things theyve done in the past against mods i see as morally questionable like pressuring some to lock or remove features.

Now VRC integrates EAC one of the worst Anti Cheats out there, will kill of Accesibility, Quality of Life and Protection as well as Performance features for a massive part of the community at no gain.

EAC will not affect those who make malicious modifications, this will be a loss for the good side of the communtiy.

You know what would actually dissencientivize malicious mods and make people safer?
Supporting and vetting mods so that you can offer trusted repositories from open source modders in order to facilitate a healthy open modding community.

It saddens me to see the platform i used to love burn itself to the ground like this and as such i can not recommend it any longer
