NEOWIZ is doing a fantastic job with all the new content updates to keep the game alive.
Love the direction DJMAX went with S13 so I will show some financial support this time around ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Amazing rhythm game with a mixture of Japanese/Chinese/anime-themed songs. Will easily keep you entertained for hours. Well balanced difficulty levels for all types of players. The base game comes with a good chunk of songs but the Muse Plus DLC is where it's really at.

Easily worth the price, especially during a sale.

If you like the base game, you'll love this DLC. Insane amount of songs and they keep releasing new ones for all DLC owners. There's a lot of Japanese and anime-themed songs and most of them are absolute bangers.

Keep in mind that there are still few collab music packs that you will have to buy separately (Hatsune Miku and Chunithm packs at the time of writing this review).

Im 30 hours in and I still haven't played all of the available songs.

Visually better than tekken 7, Story-Mode is kinda hype at times, otherwise it's just a downgrade of a game.

Online is just as bad as before, however this time around you'll have to deal with opponents' potato PCs, on top of the usual poor connections and WIFI warriors. If your opponent drops FPS during the match, both of you will have to suffer with frequent stuttering and lag. It's a very common problem with Tekken 8 due to how demanding it can be on max settings.

Ranked games are optional BO3-format, so there's no obligation to stick around for the full set (get used to the opponent leaving after their first loss). Also, no punishment for pluggers so you'll have to deal with people leaving just before losing every now and then too.

Game also suffers from the modern disease of unnecessary amount of micro-transactions. As of right now there's a box price for the game, season pass, premium battle pass, cash-shop and in the future separate DLCs (if you're not willing to buy season passes). The cash shop requires you to buy Tekken coins, which come in set amounts. These are in inconvenient sizes, forcing you to buy more than you need for the item you are buying.

The customization choices are a huge downgrade from Tekken 7 (which was already a downgrade from the previous games). The most basic customization options have been removed and they are now being added to the cash shop instead.

Even when ignoring all of the micro-transaction headache, I still can't recommend the game due to the sheer amount of laggy players and pluggers. There are much better fighting games out there with proper online-modes.

Fun and smooth gameplay, really cool boss-fights with great OST. Story is mediocre but the game has quite a bit of endgame progression in terms of upgrading your characters and doing harder challenges. Characters all feel unique with their own gameplay-styles.

Easily 30-40 hours of fun and even more if you are into grinding content for better stats.

Loved every single minute of it. Visuals, audio, gameplay, voice acting and story is all top tier.
Felt like a complete game even though it's only part 1 out of 3 of the FF7 remakes. The story is nicely wrapped up for the sequel.

Pure addiction. One of the best classical style rhythm games on PC.

The game is fun to explore the first 7-9 hours. Seeing all the references to the world of Harry Potter is enjoyable and Hogwarts is most of the time very faithful to it's lore.

However the main story is complete garbage. It's just a generic fantasy story with Harry Potter theme slapped on top of it. Most of the characters are forgettable and you'll never develop any emotional attachment to them. The writing is quite cringe at times and is basically just 10 hour story with another extra 10 hours of fluff in-between. Some side-quests are fun but most of them are just complete copy-paste generic content, and there is a lot of that.

The Harry Potter books greatest strength is the long and interesting story-line with lovable and memorable characters. Hogwarts Legacy got neither.
