this is my review about what i think of the game after 85 hours save with a rogue class. not here to have a discussion about what is right or wrong. didn't receive this for free or anything like that. just trying to provide my opinion about my experience.

the game is like a 8/10 for me. nothing exceptional or revolutionary to this genre compared to the past dragon age games.

what i think its positive about this game:
1 - The combat is pretty nice and fluid, weak spot mechanics for rogue works pretty well with bow.
2 - The choices the game provide and the difference between then. the impact of some choices actually matter for some choices during the game (if we have a new game in future and chance to import the save, they will matter even more)
3 - The plot and the quests/side quests are pretty good.
4 - The upgrade progression for the equipment is works well for the way they designed
5 - The skills works fine for 3 buttons (it will have negative about it as well) but for 3 skills setups isn't bad

the negative part about it:
1 - The game miss most RPG elements from the past games like a more group setup like a proper healer, a proper tank and some specifications for DPS.
2 - I really missed 4 members groups, its related about the missing more RPG mentioned on the first topic.
3 - Playing with only 1 automatic skill being used its not that fun, having more automatics skill or if I'm able to choose which ability i want to be automatic like the heal from Bellara or the Taunt from Davrin. would be nice if they can have at least the 3 abilities being used automatic.
4 - The companions have more gears slot and equipment, most of then are focused on detonation combos like this is a must happen mechanics. more skill related to their skills would be nice and better. we have so much gear on main characters and almost nothing to then. using ring and neck could be good.
5 - I missed in Inquisition and miss here too, the lack of the tactics we had on Origin. I know its an action game and not a tactical one like before but would be nice if we could have that option as well.

most of my complains about the game is related to the group and companions because that could be improved a lot to be honest, i really don't feel playing a RPG game like used to be because everyone kind have heal. only difference is the taunt but anything else its just action. the tactical like used to be wont be easy to anyone but the RPG elements of the game is kind important. not everyone should be able to do everything.

but this is a great game in general, please if you don't like the non binary thing you can ignore because its EA but they did a good job with this game this time. its ok for you to learn a bit more about it if you don't know, but if you don't like its ok too... don't let that ruin your experience with the game. so many good dialogues, a nice story telling game, good combat, amazing companions for you to know about it.

wait for a discount if you don't think its worth right now but the game is good. its an amazing RPG. its not a Baldur's gate 3 (nothing will be so soon) but deserve to be played as well

the game is amazing, the devs are still working on the issues daily and always answer the feedback. i play every patch to see how much improve and since it got so much better. its a nice game in this style and i will keep checking for future improvements

i had a great experience with this game, brought back some memories from some JRPG's from the past generations. amazing soundtrack, nice characters and NPC's, on normal difficulty offer some challenges to beat the game. great job for all the team in this game.

a very nice game, i love the minion thematic because mostly of the game I usually play with these build. i saw the comments about the game and decide to try and no regrets. having a lot of fun and there are a lot of thing to do.

the game is addicting, very simple and i love the support the game is receiving so far since i bought.

best tower defense i ever played. ninja kiwi did a good job with this game.
