Everyone on Steam has different behaviors and interests, so I think it's important to establish some universal common-sense rules before adding each other:

- If neither of us speaks after adding each other, I see no problem. The issue arises if one person speaks and the other doesn’t, which would be rude. If you say something to me, I will respond, and I expect the same. If you don’t agree, please don’t accept the friend request or add me.

- If I added you, it’s obvious I’m not a bot or account thief. I’ve been on Steam for over ten years, as shown by my badge. My approach is completely different from someone attempting social engineering. Just observe. I mention this to avoid bizarre interactions or ultimatums like, “WHO ARE YOU?!” out of nowhere after adding someone. I never send suspicious links, and I hate receiving them;

- I no longer accept profiles with level 0 or close to it for several reasons;

- I admire all countries, regions history, cultures, and aesthetics. I enjoy discovering new habits and customs so, everyone is welcome;

- If a narcissistic and selfish person adds me as a friend on Steam and tries to manipulate the talk for their convenience, they should stay away and not add me;

- I enjoy chatting and appreciating the artistic expression of many Steam profiles. While I like consoles from nearly every generation, only Steam offers such freedom to showcase art, idealized characters, or even realistic ones. If I added you, it’s because I found your profile beautiful and likely share similar tastes, including certain games. If this bothers you, simply don’t accept the invitation.
