It's fun to stop time and just throw a lot of knives.

A hard game to describe, is pretty slow and confusing at the start, and feels like it subtlety shifts genre over time (but not really, but also yes). That said, I feel like it comes together with such a clear vision of what the developers wanted without compromise.

Movement feels great, the pixel art is phenomenal, the writing is engaging, and the story comes together in a beautiful way.

The bosses maybe last a little too long though.

It's just fun and funny and I love frogs and pastels and 2D art and all the while it has undertones of an emotional story that is too real.

Killer art, killer music, killer vibes.

Like a condensed version of Dokapon Kingdom with even more whimsy. Just a good time with friends locally or through Remote Play.

A cute free game that has just enough variety, difficulty, and general charm to be a good time while not even coming close to overstaying its welcome. It being free and beatable in 1-2 hours, it's an incredibly easy recommendation.

The writing is charming and I would describe the gameplay as "serviceable." That said, the animation has such life and love for classic cartoons, and with it being about a cool pink gremlin of a girl taking on undead monstrosities that border on body horror, I can't not love it.

Love the care given for visual clarity and simplicity. The difficulty spike towards the end is a bit intense, but I ended up going back and giving the game another shot on hard mode and actually came to learn and appreciate the game a lot more.

Finally, a "cozy" game with linear progression and just enough silly distractions to keep my unfocused brain entertained.
