>start chase
>everyone's heading south to a warned storm
>notice there's a nicer looking cell to the west
>shear looks better
>plenty of inflow
>CAPE for days
>head over there alone
>it's organising and developing nicely and soon goes severe thunderstorm warned
>excited
>it suddenly dies and the storm everyone else went to produces a fat stovepipe
>hustle over there
>ropes out just before I get there

This is how it feels to be Brandon Copic.

People who idle in the house to fill in evidence or discuss with their teammates give me anxiety.

This game has taught me that anybody, anywhere, can start a business and prosper with nothing but grit, determination, and a wealthy uncle who will cover your entire startup costs and help you secure low rate loans.

But seriously it's very good fun. Congratulations to the dev for graduating from Startup Company and making their dream game a reality.

Probably the only tower defence game I've ever played where every tower type performs a unique role and are all worthwhile depending on the situation. Maps play differently and offer a real variety of challenges when you get on to advanced and expert, and there is plenty of daily and event content to keep engaging you with fresh challenges. Microtransactions do exist if for some reason you'd like to pay money to skip parts of the game you just paid for, but simply unlocking by playing is perfectly viable.

Bloonarius can suck a fat one.

People in Tokyo will actively seek to get to know you, share genuine opinions about current issues, and talk openly about their personal life. Everything else in the game is very believable and realistic by comparison.

Do you dream of running your own boxing gym? Nurturing young fighters and carefully guiding them to the top of the rankings? Introducing the next Tyson Fury into the boxing world?

Give up these dreams immediately.

In seriousness, try 'Leather' for Android or iOS. The fight simulations and tactics are leagues ahead of this game and it costs a fiver.

I hit the ball in the goal, enjoyed it, kept doing it. Also, keep your eye on the dude with the anime avatar cause he's gonna ram you.

A difficult game to review because it's very difficult to tell whether it's fun or not. It's also very difficult to tell just about anything happening in your city. I very much enjoyed the opening half-hour, getting involved in city politics, forming likes and dislikes towards certain parties that opposed the type of city I was trying to create, and unlocking different services for the first time.

This quickly fizzled out when I advanced to era II and wanted to try to stimulate my industrial areas to provide taxes to further improve my existing districts, and I realised I had no idea how businesses actually work. Sales demand is counterintuitive (lowering it is...Better?), extra sales, efficiency, quality, and lots of nice other words that the game fails to explain the significance of. After some prodding, raising and lowering business tax and keeping track of the finances of certain businesses I've managed to work out the general gist of how things work, and yet I still feel woefully underinformed about what policies to implement regarding the industrial and commercial sectors, and consequently have little intution about what to build in my residential districts.

Is the economy growing or shrinking? I'unno.
Is my city business friendly? I'unno.
Should I take steps to improve conditions for doing business, or can they handle a 2-3% rise in taxation? I'unno.

And it's a game where information is key, half of the difficulty comes from an irritatingly unhelpful UI. Which is just unacceptable for a game considered to be in a finished and playable state.

So, I'd suggest saving your money for now, at least until one of the great sages among us have figured out how to play it and post a guide, because it promises to be quite fun in the moments of clarity you experience from time to time.

Grudgingly, 4/10.
