My first review was a negative one mainly due to the AI. It was horrible.

I'm happy to say they actually worked on that aspect of the game.

AI still sometimes shoot through walls that ether kill you are team mates. How ever its not as often and most of it makes sense like them shooting through tarps on walls or windows with mini blinds if you shine a light at it. Those make sense if its blind fire and does add to the difficulty level of the game.

They can still do some work on the BOT AI when going solo. I still feel like I'm baby sitting them most of the time. If I have them stack on 2 different doors to a room they must be activated separately still.

Also a few times I'll ask them to stack to get ready for a clear and they will run into each other and get stuck. As well as once just walk into a room we haven't cleared to get to me and alert suspects that normally end with them targeting me through a wall.

I had more issues with the AI but improvements have been notice.

Got to also play with friends who we typically do very well with tactics and communication. Majority of the time it goes well until one of us starts getting the shenanigans itch. But still very fun. If you have a wing man or a squad and they all communicate very well. I highly recommend Ready Or Not.

I hope the dev keep working on the game and making more improvements to the AI. Enemy AI is unpredictable and it leads to some fun moments.

Side note, I hope they add in a custom scenario Mode. One where the playerbase can set up and even throw in lore too.

Also please add in a layout of the map near the SWAT Truck so my friends and I can run a plan of entry as well as have a bit of a game plan on what rooms to clear in order. Most of the time down to the last enemy or so its just all of us running around til we hear something. Kind of boring.

At first it was fun I enjoyed completing missions and seeing those SP rack in. Playing an entire act with some buddies and unlocking new cards to then build better decks to improve our play through and completion time. Took about a month off and came back to get a hefty reduced amount of SP at the end of each mission. Still long ass wait times to play when it be easier to just jump into the game right away and wait for players to join in. Bots are sometimes better than Randoms. But at least you are in the game playing. I really did enjoy the idea and features the game had at first but I don't know what they did to it. Completing missions are even full acts doesn't feel rewarding enough. Feels like work now. The grind is not enjoyable anymore for me.

I wouldn't even mind daily challenges like complete all of act 1. The achievements that reward SP was nice but once you complete them all like I have(besides a handful) Its like whats the point. Its boring and repetitive with the enjoyable aspect dripping away each play-through. With very little to no real rewards. At least I will have an additional space on my hardrive once I uninstall B4B. :)

Its fun until you hit 4-5k ping while in combat. After that you go slowmo and rubber band until you just die.
No reason why my ping goes from average 20 in ping to 4000 for several seconds. Makes things like Raids, PVP and even questing difficult to impossible at times. Beta ran smoother than the actual release of the game.

I wish this was an isolated issue that I could fix but unfortunately its in Amazon Games court.

First Time Experience.

>Opened up the game and Created my account
>Made sure Mic was muted.
>Decided to play some paintball
>Played 3 matched, Won 2 of them, Lost 1.
>A kid (under 13) got into my face and kept whispering "you suck, you suck, you suck"
>Realizing its 1am in the morning and why he is whispering.
>Un-muted my Mic and yelled as loud as possible.
>Heard my voice come from the kids mic.
>Kid started to to throw childish insults at me.
>Hears Parent in the back yelling at the Kid to go to bed.
>Kid started to cry and whine. Shortly after he logged off.
>Left Lobby with a Smile. :)

My Doc told me I need more Acidic foods in my Diet.
Xeno BBQ Anyone?

Despite the issues currently. Connection issue and a brief stuttering when I get into the game(13 sec of stuttering for me). Also this game is Online Only. For me not a big issue. I understand the reason for it. But others don't or just don't like it.

I'm really enjoying the game. It feels like to forms to your play style while still pushing you to be a bit more aggressive if you normally play defensively. Some class play aggressively better than others but over all. When that "♥♥♥♥♥, THUD" sounds after defeating a Mini boss or boss. . . the feeling you are getting something good exist. Coming from every other Looter Shooter in the last decade. This has been a very fun experience. In the Demo the loot felt the same as each other but now Mid to end game. You will start seeing a lot of unique drops. Not including Legendary that are very unique.

My Favorite feature in this game is the ability to really modify and customize my gear. Even the crap drops can be salvage to decent or good one. Also the resources needed to do such changes are pretty easy to get. Haven't had a Shortage or summit time to actually grind for it. As long as when you see it you take it. You will be good.

Really my only gripe is the connection issue. So far its only happen 2 times both today. But they are few and far between. But this is based on my experience. It may be more for others. If you are on the fence about the game. Wait a few days for them to Iron out that issue then jump on in. So far though they have been transparent when servers are down and in what region they are down with. Updated almost right away on their Server Status page. Any other issues there are work around but the Demo showed me the Devs do care about the game. The issues I had during the Demo(a lot of them) I haven't experience in the main game. There are a few new ones but nothing that hurts my enjoyment of the product.

End thoughts. Everything I wanted in a looter shooter.

I hope you find the same passion & enjoyment in FFXIV as I have!

At First I did not like this game based on the Demo and pretty much people saying how horrible the controls are.
However that being said I played it with a mouse and keyboard. . . no problem with controls what so ever. Haven't tried with a Controler yet but I might to see how it plays out. This game how ever had such a great story behind it. I'm a sucker for japanese Animation movies like Appleseed, Vexille and lets throw in Ghost in the Shell. I love my Scifi as much as any one so my reccommendation might be a bit bias. The bottom line is I had fun in the game. Some Boss fights I would get hit,hit,hit then need a revive and when I do I get hit again to need another revive. . . a little annoying but not enough to get me mad or stop playing. I liked the twist they added and the characters development pretty much was good with a bit of bad. The Campaign is a bit short but I burned through this game quickly because I really wanted to beat it. The plot/story is to blame for that. I will say that some of the weapons could have been better. Upgrade feature could use work. Only the main weapon of each character can be upgraded and I would of like my side arm to be upgraded but can't complain too much about it. Also the Trust feature with each character. I had all main character MAX out with Trust and yet I don't know what its really for. I don't know if they do better in combat or what so seem like a dead feature to have in the game. But I don't enjoy as many games as I use to or want to keep playing it all the way through. How ever I really did in fact enjoy this game. Not the best 3rd person game I have ever played but I enjoyed it and got this when it was on sale so I have no buyer remorse. I actually thought when buying this game I would of just have paid for another game that will sit in my list of games unfinished because I didn't enjoy it enough to finish it. This was not the case.
One of the biggest things that really kept this game interesting was the Boss fights. Pretty straight forward but no real push over and some times I felt like my attempt to stop/destroy them was not being effective. Not the case but it was sort of a fun feeling to have. Left me on the edge a bit for a few fights. I highly Recommend this to any one who have similar taste in story. Not a long story but I would say worth the buy.(for sure worth the buy if its on sale)
