Update: I recently have escaped, and have found that my bird was diagnosed with hypoglycemia, which means I have to feed him every 2 hours or he'll die, he only chooses to eat blue m&ms, but I've been able to slip in blue skittles without him noticing.
Update: My bird has figured out how to read the letters on the candy and I am now forced to pick out the blue m&ms because that's the only thing he will eat
