Early Access Review
Out of the last 53 hours since I started playing this game, 27.5 have been spent in game.

10/10. Great experience. The sort of game you'll always wish you could play for the first time again.

Absolutely worth getting. I didn't play the original so I was a bit worried this was just getting hyped up by nostalgia, but it's great in its own right.
The movement is good, the level design (at least for the first parts, I'm not that far) is good, engaging, and promotes looking around and exploring.
Characters have different abilities that need to be used to explore and get further, and are well integrated and explained, easily understood.

Alright, I've played this for a bit now, and here's my thoughts.

It's a good game. The gameplay, the balance, and the movement are all good, I think.
The firefights, especially when you're in the top 10, are intense, and as you get used to the maps and building layouts you can use a lot of flanking routes and so on, making it more tactical as you get better.

There are some issues though. The main problem is that they made it 1.0 too quickly. I played the test server for 20 hours or so before they upgraded it to 1.0, and I simply don't see enough issues fixed. The most important one, where the game crashed due to bad_module or something, was fixed, but another very important one, in my mind, was rubberbanding.

At the beginning of a round, there is a massive issue with rubberbanding (being teleported backwards every now and then), which is irritating and occasionally enraging, when you land next to someone and get teleported away from the weapon as you both go for it, leaving him to get it and kill you instantly , which is not something I'd see as acceptable outside of early access. It was bothersome then, intolerable now.
They should have fixed this before launch, even if they were feeling deadline pressures. They've already sold hundreds of thousands of copies - there is no real reason to fear the game would flop just because they pushed back the date a few weeks, especially if they announced the reasons. Could even spin it as a "We don't want to become a Mass Effect Andromeda" thing.

But they went ahead, which is dumb.

Beyond that first part though, the game is good. Confusing at first, since you don't know where to loot and where to go, but as you learn (or look up) what the better places and strategies are, you'll find yourself getting better and more confident.

I'd also like to adress the possible misinterpretation caused by watching streamers before buying the game. When someone like Shroud, Forsen, DrDisrespect, etc. is playing, they'll routinely get 20+ kills. This might lead someone to believe the game is more action packed than it is, since you're not actually likely to see more than 15 people throughout a round.
The reason these people get that many more kills is that when they're streaming, people watch them, and try to get on their server and kill them, leading to them meeting far more other players than you would in an average match.
The streamers are very good at the game, obviously, but the killcount gives a skewed impression of the game. Just something to keep in mind.

Despite the rubberbanding issue, which is the main negative, I recommend the game. It's good fun, especially when playing with friends, and the firefights are intense and leave you thirsty for more. Hope they fix the rubberbanding soon.

EDIT

Alrighty, since I reviewed this they've fixed the rubberbanding, so honestly I just recommend it flat out. It's especially fun if you play duo/squad mode with friends with discord/skype, but solo is fun too.
The only things you can buy with real money are keys to cosmetics chests, so it's not remotely pay to win, and I only occasionally have issues with getting randomly disconnected, not noticeably more than with any other game I play.

I've had this game for three days. In that time, I played for forty hours. Let that sink in, in 72 hours, I played 40 hours of this. If you pick a random time in the last three days, odds are I was playing warframe. This is the second to greatest gamme I've ever played (Skyrim rulez), and it's free. Unless you want DLC's, but who cares? You don't need that. Do yourself a favour. Get the game. Just do it. I switched all my graphics down to basically nothing, but it still doesn't look like ♥♥♥♥, and it runs brilliantly. This game is gold.

I absolutely love this game; brilliant storyline, sidequests and replay value, awesome gameplay, and with an insanely brilliant modding community. The only problem I have is the fact that I'm currently 90% certain Legendary Dragons (Dragonborn DLC, I think) do not spawn naturally at any stage. I've spent, quite literally, hours scouring Skyrim looking for the things, but to no avail (and yes, I do have the requisite level).

10/10, guy with under 1/4 of my kills, captures, defenses and dominations called me a noob for not paying for cosmetics. Loved it.

Any game wherein you can punch a fully armoured knight until he's knocked out, and then sell hiim into slavery, is a good game in my book.
