Really fun game, honestly. The only downside is their financial model. I understand they need to make money, but acquiring characters is only really possible if you're P2P. I've played 40-50 hours and still haven't made enough for one character, and I play back to back, no useless idling.

Gripes aside, the game play loop is incredibly fun and I enjoy it immensely.

If you can get over the ridiculously large barrier to entry, path of exile will be a game you play on and off for the rest of your video game life. It is the industry standard for a good ARPG that constantly innovates. Highly recommend following a build guide for your first few builds until you understand how the passive tree operates.
