This remake surpassed my expectations. If you loved the original, you will love this and if you haven't played the original you are in for a treat and a ride. The cult+castle lore is covered in a much more comprehensive way with all the discoverable documents, and it fits so well with the world that the game inhabits and it really blew my mind. Gameplay is fantastic as always. I can easily see myself putting in 10s or hundreds of playthroughs just like I did with the 2005 version.
