Freedom Wars is a Post-Post-Apocalyptic game where the world is rebuilding itself after a total resource collapse. Now everyone must help rebuild society and keep it running, those who are drains on society are given criminal sentences. You are born a criminal for needing to use resources without giving back, amnesia is a 1,000,000 year sentence to work off, and you are a criminal. Wakey Wakey Sinner, time to serve your panopticon.

I played the vita original and the gameplay still feels as loose, fun, and chaotic as it did before to me. That said controller is VERY recommended for this one, cause mouse and keyboard is kinda awful. Something that I did not know about the original is that all of the robots and propaganda uses text to speech to function. This was mislabeled by a bunch of people as generative AI voices in the remaster with it's english dub, but it's just a text to speech function, which can be charming and can be VERY stupid at other times. Wacky Wacky(Wakey Wakey) Sinner has become my favorite of them.

This is a C+ grade Monster Hunter style game, with a free aim grappling hook, that can be a load of fun and I do recommend it, but it is far from perfect. That said I hope to see you around sinners.

Looking for a good rpg? Need something to hold you till your Thursday night D&D session? Want to play ranger without getting side eye? Want to play monk without getting side eye? Want to finally get your chance to play rogue?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then might I interest you in Baldur's Gate 3?

Better than the Rest

Live service games are a dime a dozen. Rarely does the gameplay work on it's own and the monetization is often aggressive and forced. Helldivers 2 does of good job in my opinion of making things feel worth it while having gameplay be mixed with the live-service aspect in a genuinely fun and fulfilling way. While also allowing a very tongue-in-cheek humor. If you can get some friends to join you,

spreading democracy never felt so good.

An extremely simple and deceptively addictive game.

Where to start? So, this was my first experience with the deck builder genre and it was a pretty good place to start. The game has an extremely low barrier to entry but it is challenging and has a system that gives it a low floor but a high ceiling. Each of the demon clan combinations add a ton to the variety you will experience but it also allows the game to keep a mostly steady pace. My only real complaint is that one of the demon clans is actually pretty difficult to get the hang of(as of writing this I still haven't figured them out), but there is plenty to this game that keeps it entertaining, challenging, and engaging while keeping runs from getting stale for a long time.

Got me and some friends back into Yu-Gi-Oh. That's it that's the review.

Tip: turn down the in game volume when you get to the settings. It's pretty loud.

Early Access Review
I guess, opening this up by saying this is my friends and my favorite online game, might be a bit cheap. We come back to it almost any time we hang out. If you like the idea of a co-op horror game to play with the squad or just a few friends that can't handle spooks then this will be up your alley. It's super fun, and each mission feels fresh, and with the game being updated regular with a lot of love and attention from the devs, there will be plenty to do for a while.

Brutal Legend is an experimental blend of hack'n slash, real time strategy, open world adventure, and so much more. All wrapped up in a package that comes with an amazing soundtrack full of songs from heavy metal legends throughout the years.

I have bought around 6 copies of this game in attempts to get my friends to play it because I genuinely think this game is one of the most underrated romps you can experience. At it's best is a super fun, super campy, amazing adventure, and at it's worst it's a silly experiment you can appreciate for doing it's best to blend together as many genre's as it can. If you like Double Fine games, if you like some good music, if you just want something silly to play, then Brutal Legend is probably one of the easiest recommendations I can give.

Let me start by saying I logged 300+ hours into this game on the PSVita before I got it on Steam. This is a fantastic JRPG, and I can not recommend it enough. It's only real flaw is that movement has a startling amount of speed, but unless you played another version this shouldn't be a problem. If you like turn based rpgs, if you have ever been curious about the Persona series, if you just want a solid story to sink a lot of time into, I recommend this game. Fantastic gameplay, amazing characters(except Yosuke), a wonderfully upbeat soundtrack, fun scenarios, and an amazing story. This is a great game for newcomers, and it offers plenty to returning or old fans.
