Early Access Review
I cannot recommend the game in the current state, neither for veteran players nor newcomers.

The gameplay in general is slow, sluggish and annoying at times. Your character keeps moving like it's in a wheelchair, while every single enemy is faster than you. Not to mention the dodge mechanic feels like you're fat-rolling in souls-like game.

This game currently is like an odd child of souls-like game with ARPG and it does not mix up well. After every death, whole zone respawns and you need to drag through the zone to get back to where you were, while in most cases you cannot even do that, since you get stuck and blocked by every single object and enemy, especially in tight corridors.

For majority of the boss fights, you will spend more time dodging/rolling than actually doing damage, and it can result in boss fights taking 5+ minutes of tedious, annoying dodge-roll fest while trying to squeeze in couple attacks in here there - god forbid you mistime a roll, as every boss seems to contain one-shot mechanics.
While I am a huge fan of such combat (finished all such FromSoft games, including DLCs, and some other games from the genre too), the combination of isometric ARPG with that does not seem to be a very good fit.

The dodge mechanic also does not contain phasing through enemies, nor i-frames, and you get stuck on every single object (chair in a way, rock in away, urn in a way.. tough luck, you're rolling in place. Also, your attacks are not coming through either). Same applies for enemies, where even things that are smaller than you (e.g. small spiders/bugs) behave like a brick wall, while you're getting pushed around and cornered into places, where you either nuke everything quickly, or you get obliterated as soon as you're surrounded.

Everything takes way too long to kill, including trash/white mobs, which is also caused by almost non-existing drops (gear, gold, currencies). Everything in this game is way too expensive (especially respeccing as you are heavily limited in experimenting with builds especially early on, gear is very expensive as well), therefore you want to rely on crafting... which is also tough endeavour on its own with the crazy low amount of currencies dropping.

You never feel like your character is getting more powerful and it feels like a constant struggle to push through. Tied together with the extremely slow speed of your character (in early campaign without even getting any options to increase speed of travelling), the sheer size of majority of the zones, all mobs respawning after every death, the game is becoming increasingly frustrating in its current state.

Drop rates of everything need to be tweaked (majority of the complaints could be resolved by this), HP of enemies (especially bosses) need to be tweaked, some bosses need to be fixed as they're borked for melee players (in Act2 hitboxes of Zalmarath, the Colossus are totally scuffed for melee, including your character clipping through terrain - at least as monk), skill tree also leaves a lot to be desired as currently it does not feel as impactful as it perhaps should.

In the current state, the game does not feel fun, rewarding and enjoyable to play, and feels more like unnecessarily punishing, unbalanced and tough experience, especially if you play a melee class (Prime example being the honour system in Trial of Sekhemas, which in current state seems impossible for melee unless you are overleveled and can manage to one-shot regular enemies).

In general, the biggest gripe with the current state of the game is the loot, or lack thereof, as it should be one of the main driving forces, but there is barely anything dropping and you rarely have opportunities to change up the gear and feel its effect on your character becoming more powerful.

Early Access Review
Surprisingly good amount of content for early access game, with well-written characters and gameplay is satisfying and smooth.

Looking forward to the final product to see the story wrapped up.

Very atmospheric, immersive, well-polished rogue-lite title with engaging gunplay, interesting and intriguing story and worldbuilding.

The difficulty is fair and the quite unique take on the bullet hell game in 3 dimensions makes it a quite unforgetable experience that is definitely worth it if you are fan of these kind of games.

Tower of Sisyphus, the endless mode, is also quite catchy and addictive while also providing further insight into the story.

While the diversity in the runs may not be as huge as in other games in the genre (i.e. Binding of Isaac), the gameplay is still fun, engaging and well worth the price.

The atmosphere and especially the OST is god-like! Every biome, and bossfight proves to be an unforgettable experience. Visually, the experience is also stunning.

A very decent remake of the original version that brought me along for a huge nostalgia trip. I also appreciate the classic difficulty, although it seemed to be a bit unoptimized in some missions (escaping the armored vehicle as an example - this was such a weird segment overall)

PAID MODS!!! So much for listening from the backlash back from Skyrim paid mods... This is not a welcome step, mods have always been made by community for community, not for your pockets.. Wake up, bethesda! You definitely lost my business if this decision stays.

What a terrible way to end Isaac, to be honsest. This DLC seems just lazy and totally underwhelming.
Greedier mode is absolutely terrible, unbalanced and almost impossible to finish
New character is kinda...meh. Void is amazing item though, lots of cool synergies and broken runs could be made, but that's about it.
Also, those portals.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ portals everywhere, which are a TERRIBLE concept.
Also, Sisters VIS.... no comment for those. How did that even get past the testing? Or was there even any testing at all?
Also, they tried to make the game harder, which would be fine by me, but they made it harder the worst way possible. Creating overwhelming rooms that sometimes just seem outright impossible to survive or at least not get hit, especially on early floors? Again, same in greedier mode.. I have no words

I'm so confused as to what this DLC is supposed to be. I was expecting a great ending to the whole story, great floor to end it all... and what we got instead, is just a pile of ♥♥♥♥, honestly.

Timeless classic that will keep you occupied for hundreds of hours. There's something special about this game that keeps dragging you back even though you've done everything you could..

Definitely worth the price. Adds a decent amount of content, new cars and mainly new boosts are beautiful!

I just can't get enough of this madness. I haven't played such an amazing and addictive game in a looong time, definitely worth every cent.... if you are willing to sacrifice your own social life of course(but who needs that when you have freaking rocket RC cars playing football?)

I still suck though

From have definitely stepped up with their love for PC users... 60 fps @ 1080p is pure bliss ♥
There have also been some changes in several game mechanics compared to previous title and it made the game even more challenging... I just can't get enough, this game is a MUST!
