honestly other than the server errors i cant complain physics feel great on a wheel races are challenging sense of speed feels correct it could use optimization heavier more consistant traffic and the server issues fixed and itll easily be one of my top 5 racers if your on a low spec rig wait for optimization if not its a fun game in a world where games want you to be a wallet rather than a consumer

dont buy runs like crap (i7-12700k, 4090, 32gb ddr4) plays okay crap netcode and hit reg menus are buggy af doesnt properly scale to 4k for fullscreen borderless and you can barely change the fullscreen rez without having to click the resolution option 20 times to get it to open my experience not great i have buddies that swear by it

So alot of ppl are mad rn cause the devs just announced they are cancelling the 2.8 update that was supposed to add in proper mod support to have it as a core system in the sequel that out of the way this is a great game the atmosphere is amazing enemy variety can be bland but a solid lore foundation was established in this and its still an extremely enjoyable experience just saying id much rather spend 20$ on this than the 10 year old plank walking game

Long story short proper mod support moved to the sequel but still the best adaptation of stalker and just a super creepy in like a almost deja vu sense almost horror survival looter shooter

If you like guns and trippy shadow creatures or any of the stalker games or adaptations buy it you wont be let down its a good game
also i highly recommend the stalker overhaul mod (changes how enemy's and gear spawns to make surviving off of pure looting more viable and the enemy's more varied with the handful of types that there are and the clear sky voice re-placer for the shadow dudes much less ear damaging

Awesome game well worth the money and PTSD just be sure to try the star wars galactic contention mod its well worth it if you are a star wars fan.
