Seeing that last reviews are bombed, I wanted to drop a positive review. I have been playing this game since season 2. Don't get confused with my steam hours since I mostly played it on EA platform.

Yes, this game is a blast. There are lots of pros and cons about it. But I think this is the best BR game in the market at the moment.

Servers were always somewhat unreliable in this game. There are bugs Respawn didn't/couldn't fix since season 2. 10 seasons later I still queue without teammates. Matchmaking is sometimes horrible. As a Diamond player, I shouldn't be matched with level 27 players. Lots of bugs come and go in this game. I think it is because the engine is Source. (yes, game runs on a very modified version of source engine. The VERY source engine that is used in your childhood games such as CS 1.6 or Halflife.)

If you don't have a decent system you will get wrecked by FPS drops, I don't know why but optimization is a huge issue in BR games, but due to it's fast nature, it is more noticable in Apex.

But, Gunplay is unmatched. Lots of movement options, weapons are very cool, gameplay feels great. Legends are unique and have a lot of personality, it has a continued lore if you like it, maps are fun to play unlike other BR's. Once you start really playing it there is no going back.

In my opinion people are dooming. Yes, the community is bombing the reviews because they see what this game could be and how EA reacts to player feedback, but again, this is the best BR in the market at the moment. So if you want to play it but you are staying away because of the reviews, just give it a go and fall in love with this game.
